Delicious!!! Some of the best Indian food in town
We really enjoyed our dinner at Tamashaa in DC. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and I especially liked that the chef came out a few times to check on the tables and ask how everything was. It added a nice personal touch to the experience.
From the outside, I expected it to feel like a fairly typical Indian restaurant, but the inside was completely different. The atmosphere, presentation, and overall dining experience felt much more upscale and refined.

The lotus stem chaat and sweet potato chaat appetizers were a great start of our meal, and they packed a flavorful punch!! They raised our expectations for the main course, and we ordered old delhi butter chicken hoping to relive old memories, but unfortunately the chicken felt dry and the sauce didn't taste like what I had growing up, which I think only lives in my thoughts now.
