Tucked inside a higher-end bodega, this location does a brisk carryout business. They have a good, varied menu and great fries. The guy taking orders was very helpful and friendly. The food takes a while to prepare so you want to order ahead. They have a sister location on New Mexico Ave. Try the strawberry lemonade!
The wings should be removed from the menu. They are smoked, which is amazing and a differentiator from your standard wing place, but then they DEEP FRY the smoked wings - completely ruining them. They are greasy with 10x as much salt as they should have. It wasn’t seasoning - it was just covered in salt and I couldn’t eat more than one or two.
