I love Popeye's and this is my preferred retailer, but on this day it was as if they weren't expecting a dinner rush. No fries down, no nuggets, no ice, plenty of bone in chicken tho. I waited an inordinate amount of time and ppl who ordered after me got their food and left. From past experience, I know they can do better.
The store manager forPopeyes on 8th street, SE in DC show no customer service. He took my order and made me wait while he was doing a side hustle ,I was the only one in the when I place my order. Once I received my order which I order a 11piece meal with 2 large sides. I ask for more gravy to go with my large mash potatoe he told me that I have to pay extra, I refus would like action to be taken against this Fernandoed because for a large mash potatoe in one container and another...read full review

I love Popeyes and I’ve had GREAT experiences in DC, but this particular location is a let-down. They forced me to get extra stuff as a combo when I should be able to just get tenders. Felt like an unnecessary upsell and then on top of that they got the order wrong. Maybe it was just an off-day, but I can’t recommend.
