About Vue Rooftop

Vue Rooftop offers a nice experience with beautiful views of the city. While the food can be a bit on the expensive side, the cocktails are outstanding. The Vue scallops and Peruvian ceviche remain popular choices, while the Broccolini Caesar and burrata/peach salad are noted as less remarkable. The chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert is a must-try. The atmosphere is improved from previous years, with baseboard heating and retractable windows enhancing comfort during colder months. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, though service can be slow during busy times. With high top tables that provide excellent views, the rooftop is one of the best spots in DC, making it worth the price. Reservations are recommended, especially for regular seating. The drink menu is good, featuring refreshing options like the It's Not A Phase Mom cocktail and a great selection of small bites for those looking for something quick. Overall, Vue Rooftop is a fantastic spot for special occasions or work happy hours, offering a memorable experience with stunning views of the city.

The view at the Vue is the absolute highlight with expansive views of the Whitehouse and other DC sites. Reservations are highly recommended but my wife and I took a chance after visiting the Christmas Market and there was a table available for a walk-in but had to be clear in 90 minutes. Service was top notch and the menu was wonderful. It is not an expansive list but everything was outstanding. I had the Branzina (Sea Bass) and a Shrimp Cocktail. Amazing taste and presentation....read full review
Beautiful views and fun environment. Highly recommend.
Drinks and apps were on point. good view of the white house and monuments. dinner was just at average. lobster roll was heavy on mayo and light on lobster. steak was not on the tender side. lobster fried rice tasted more steamed than fried and was very dry without any soy or sesame sauce
