One of the cozy spots around Shaw area which is close to convention center. Me and my girl had to take Uber since dc parking lil bit hard, but we made it for dinner and some cocktails. Our servers was so friendly and help us choose what we eat which is cool. We tried egg rolls which was delicious and my girl had lamb chops that was reasonable price and so delicious. I would say lemon drop was so fire for the happy hour price was so dope. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to have chill vibe, drinks and food. Btw the fact they had a DJ was interesting too.

Music, DJ and atmosphere were all great! Stumbled upon this place after going to dinner next door at Chaplin. Glad we ended our night at this #blackowned spot!

Mona is the best host there is in DC. Silk Lounge is already great fun, but she truly understands party time hospitality.

One of the best hookah spot in the entire dmv. Food is great and service was excellent. If you are looking for something good food and hookah and drink that’s the place to be. It’s near convention center. No problem with parking as well.

One of the worst Ethiopian food places I have ever been. The staffs are also unprofessional and did respectful.

Definitely a new experience. Everyone liked at least one of the items. Some food was spicy but I am a lite weight. Great staff! We enjoyed it.

Unprofessional! I placed an order though Caviar. I thought it was odd that it took a long time to even confirm my order. After waiting a long time, they cancelled my order and changed their delivery status to no longer available. Of course when this happens, I have to wait to receive my refund. Not cool!

Such great food and even better service. Atmosphere and vibes of restaurant are on point. The food we had we so good, organic and fresh! Also got a really good, refreshing drink from the bar that I enjoyed. Definitely a place to come for multiple occasions!

[Coronavirus review] I checked out this place based on online deals; restaurants that make it easy to order via apps are definitely at an advantage in the social distancing era. My order was ready when I arrived, set out near the door to be picked up (unlabeled, so I asked someone a safe distance away to confirm that it was mine). I'm pretty much ordering the veggie combo at any Ethiopian place. Theirs wasn't the most impressive I've had. For one thing, the portions of the various items didn't seem huge, and the cutouts in my takeout box made the inside space smaller than would be ideal for this sort of food. The other was that the items weren't quite what I expected; I couldn't pick out all seven that the menu listed (I didn't find anything that seemed like potato, though with things mixing together it's hard to be 100% sure). Rather than a leafy salad, a large section of it seemed to be timatim fitfit. To translate, this means that I had a meal delivered on top of injera (flatbread), with some injera rolls to scoop it up with, and the actual meal was bits of injera mixed with tomato. This seems a bit redundant. It's possible they're having to improvise because of supply issues (not their fault during these troubled times), but it's not the best Ethiopian takeout I've had during corona. That being said, no complaints on taste, my lentils were pretty spicy and I would consider ordering here again, hopefully some day when things are less locked down.
