I found myself seated at the round robin bar during a protest outside. I needed to unwind after an unusally intimate historical tour of the White House. So I decided to try the infamous
mint julep and on whim, the escargot. (Neither of which I had tried in my life.) The mint julep was as freshly crushed mint leaves as possible and just as freshly refreshingly boozy - something welcome as the protests increased in intensity outside. The view of the street from the large windows of the bar was clear yet comforting, as if the history of the place would project me from any current history unfolding. ..I awaited the arrival of the escargot by happily chewing on freshly buttered French bread. A charming waiter arrived with an oven warmer brown skillet with special dimples filled with the pump escargots nestled safely in melted butter.
The soft and only slightly chewy texture of the snails was perfect! Although I was not amused by menu prices, the invisible yet attentive charming bartenders and waitstaff alike made me feel incredibly special. A perfect gastronomical ending to a perfect tour of the White House. Thank you Round Robin bar for an amazing experience!

My wife and I discovered this historic bar and lounge walking through DC. They Old Fashion and Manhattan were crafted to perfection. The appetizers and mains were better than expected.

The biggest surprise was the top notch service provided by the mixologists and kitchen staff.

only the most revolting and disgraced establishment would harbor criminals with active ICC & ICJ warrants for the crime of genocide.

So much history, we had to stop here. Certainly recommend the mint julep, smoked old fashioneds and dirty martinis with blue cheese, olives. For food, we tried the cheese plate, which is plenty for two people. We also had the outstanding pork belly and grilled octopus . Another must do when in DC.

Excellent service. I always stay longer than I expected because it's a great time. Drinks are fantastic, but the food menu is equally delicious and worth trying.

Excellent location, convenient pregame for a show at Warner Theatre. Drinks and food were great. It’s a hotel bar so the space turns over a few times if you sit long enough. Service is good but gets slow during the those inevitable turnover/rush periods. Keep that in mind when trying to close a tab in a hurry, we learned the hard way.

Drinks are expensive and it can get loud. However, the drinks are good and it is always a treat to visit the Willard. Beautiful property with a rich history!

We stumbled upon here after wanting to find a quiet place for dinner, and we found it!
It is a very relaxing atmosphere and got a table by the window. We had a burger and fries, which tasted delicious, along with a couple of cocktails! The staff were very nice and attentive.
We would come back when in Washington D.C.

The museums are closed for the evening. You're thirsty. Something sweet appeals. This place hit both of these desires for me in the best way. The bartenders were great. Masters of their craft. The folk they have making their deserts are absolutely artists.

I adore the decor and vibes. It is too rare that I find places like this. If I was local this would absolutely be one of my main haunts.

Parking: The hotel which houses this establishment has valet parking. It is walkable from the mall.

Kid-friendliness: Frankly, this place is too nice for kids.
