I took my gf here for our anniversary and they kindly gave us a complimentary dessert (yummy tiramisu) and champagne. Our server Ray was excellent, helpful, and had a great energy. The food was yummy and the ambience was lovely. We would consider returning next time we visit DC!
Food was great, service was poor. We had a large party and understandably that can be a lot to handle. Our waitress hardly ever checked on our table and was often just standing by the bar or the kitchen. I ordered shrimp with my pasta and only received 3 of the 5 indicated on the menu. We had extra items added to our bill that we never purchased. They "comped" me some shrimp to make up for the missing ones and forgot to take it off the bill. There was a random dessert....
We were a party of five. All of us loved their dishes. But I left the table and when I got back my half full bottle of wine was gone. They were rushing us to finish. That felt pretty tacky. I'll like tho back because of the great food but if you plan on leaving the table just for 5 minutes, make sure somebody is guarding your wine glass.
