I absolutely love Solly's. One of my favorite bars to go to for a few drinks and some quick food. The service is always great and super fast. Great place to watch the game as they have a bunch of big TVs upstairs. One of the best dive bars in the city by far. Check it out for yourself!!

Thursday night Karaoke was a blast! Convenient location just up from the U street metro stop. Multilevel. Staff were great!
Lively, but not overwhelming after 11pm on a weekday. A lot of people seemed to know each other. Some TV screens. Outdoor and indoor seating. The barkeep was extra generous with his whiskey pours and thus, I blame him for my hangover.

We're from Orlando and stopped by to check this place out on a Wednesday night. Solly's is just the kinda bar we like. No bullshit dive bar with strong drinks, good prices and chill vibes. . The owner/bartender is a super cool dude! Will def be back next time we're in town.

Niel the bartender made it clear that my safety mattered more to him than profit - a rarity in DC. I tried to tip him extra but he literally would not let me. This is my favorite bar in DC and you won't see me missing out on a chance to be here any time soon.
