Finally, I was in town to check out a show at the venue. It's very small and intimate. You will see your favorite artist from any standing point. I was even surprised to see table tops/chairs to sit at given the size of the place. Because it's so intimate, you will get a chance to meet the artist after their set. Staff was friendly. My only dislike was the drink options at the bar. And the pricing of said options (DC added tip and high tax)
We had a great time. I loved the live show, as well as the ambiance. The Artist did a great job. His performance was stellar, and his level of crowd interaction was just right, in my opinion. We spoke with almost all of the staff. Everyone was professional, respectful, helpful, and genuinely kind. I didn't feel like a tourist going to check out a bar, I felt like I had been going there for years.
Not only was this an amazing music venue, but every single member of the staff I encountered was absolutely fabulous. I would return for the staff as much as I would the music. Thanks for a great night Songbyrd! You're a diamond!
