Came here during a trip to DC. We made a special point to visit because it’s famous and it was good but you’ve got to really really love cupcakes to make it worth it because cupcakes for about seven dollars each is more on the pricey side obviously. The taste of the cupcakes we tried we were good and well-made, but as we’re not that into cupcakes I can’t say if this is recommended for most.

It's hands down the best cupcake in DC. My family definitely is biased to the dark chocolate cupcake but the rest are also very very good. Staff is always incredibly friendly and efficient with time.

Lucky enough to live right by this location. These cupcakes are perfect! Just the right amount of frosting to cake. Flavors are always changing to keep it interesting - but, at the same time, there are core flavors you can count on. The staff is incredibly kind. Everything is baked fresh right on premises every single day - not brought in from some other location. Prices are reasonable. If you are on their mailing list they often have promotions :) The mini cupcakes are beyond adorable. And, I have a neighbor that tells me his dog is totally addicted to the pup cakes. It’s a 10/10!

Great experience with Sprinkles! Preordered a dozen online for a party (which was super easy), used the curbside pickup option (which was also super easy even though the store is in the heart of Georgetown), staff person who brought them out was very nice, and my colleagues absolutely LOVED the cupcakes. I purchased a mix of flavors and every single person said the one they had was amazing. I needed to accommodate both vegan and gluten dietary restrictions and those folks said their cupcakes were stunningly delicious as well! Thank you, Sprinkles!

I still hate that Sprinkles is no longer the premium experience it used to be. You’re now greeted by an iPad to order and barely acknowledged when your order is ready. It’s a far cry from the heyday it once was. BUT the cupcake quality at this location is still perfection and worth the visit. So glad this location still retains the classic taste which is worth the visit any day.

Best cupcake I had in my life probably this past weekend. It was a cookie crumble with chocolate batter. This cupcake is a limited edition one I believe.
Totally recommend even if cupcakes these days cost $5-6 each.

There is absolutely nothing special about this place. Frosting is overly sweet And the cake is too small for the size of frosting which makes the overall experience unbearably sweet. Additionally frosting is very sugary and lack the delicate texture of cream. I’m giving it to star as there is too much hype about this place and in reality these are ordinary grocery store cupcakes.

It was my sister’s birthday so we were going around getting her freebies! We end up purchasing cupcakes as well. It’s cute spot but I recommend fixing that heavy door. But we were greeted and helped as soon as we walked in. Everything smelled, look and tastes delicious!

I came here in 2020 with my best friend at sprinkles was amazing. My partner and I are up here for a wedding and told him we needed to go there because they were amazing. I was disappointed as the quality went down and it tasted like a generic cup cake mix box. Needless to say we were let down. Staff was super nice though but each cupcake was pricey.
Wheelchair accessibility: I used my wheelchair and it fits.

Stopped in while walking around Georgetown and got the last 2 cupcakes! They were red velvet and were good!. And we didn’t have to wait in line forever like the other place. I actually remember seeing Sprinkles on the tv show Shark Tank, And happy to still see them in business!.

This place has the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. I’m always surprised of people lining up on weekends in front of the Georgetown Cupcake shop because I tried their cupcakes and they are average at most. Sprinkles cupcakes are superior.

You will see where the name comes from when you had one of these!Very light batter /dough and light, on the point flavours without being over powering.Only complaint is the price point as you don't get much cupcake for what you pay for.

Whenever I go to Georgetown I stop by to eat the sugar-free Redvelvet! A delight. The attendants are always very polite and prepared to clarify doubts and suggest options. Today we were surprised by the gift of a private label chocolate. WONDERFUL! Try it without fear.
