We went to the Taj of India in Alexandria. The food was wonderful. I love extra extra extra spicy food. I asked for the kitchen hot spicy and they delivered. The waitstaff is wonderful. Definitely will be back while we are here. If you come to Alexandria, VA. This is a must stop place. Sorry we ate most of our salmon tandoori before taking a picture.
The service was really wonderful! Our waitress was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating to my dietary needs, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere was serene, relaxing, and very pleasant. I would recommend this place!
A friend and I shared a nice lunch at Taj of India on May 13, 2026. The food was absolutely delicious. I tried the lamb panat for the first time and was very nicely surprised. It will be a new favorite. The service was also excellent and very attentive. Despite being on a busy street the outside tables worked out well. The inside seating is very peaceful. Can warmly recommend.
