This is my local go to restaurant for good food and food I won't make at home. I usually get a soup and a curry or noodle dish and that gives me two meals since both reheat in the microwave very well.
So I been stopping at this place almost every day when I visit dc to kick start my day. Coming from a family of chef and at one point always make and sale pho makes me pretty critical of what is considered good. Our taste is from the countryside of cambodia so the concept of veggie broth for is new. It's lighter but still tasty. I had that yesterday. Today I had the beef broth. Wow. Absolutely delicious vegan pho. The best tasting veggie broth I've ever had in America. Service is great and respectful. I live across the street and have been several times since moving in. The carry out orders are always fresh and hot. It should be a staple for any vegetarian/vegan in DC.
