I went to this restaurant because crab and corn chowder was on the menu on the internet. When I got there it wasn't on the menu. So I ordered the fish sandwich with fries. The food was so unimpressive. The only thing that was good about this restaurant was the waiter. I didn't get his name but he was great.

Loved the music which brought us inside but there was no air conditioning. But they knew when did dim the lights! Service was amazing but the food was a bit disappointing. The fish sandwich I ordered was very small and almost the size of a slider. McDonald's filet of fish is bigger. Not a fan of shoestring fries either.

The Avenue is under new ownership and is now “Skip’s on The Avenue.” We had a wonderful late night dinner, and were pleasantly surprised to find there was also live music. The Sautéed chicken was excellent. The musician played a mix of popular songs in his own style blending guitar and keyboard. We plan to go back again soon.

Fun neighborhood place.

Visited for a company Christmas party, we were at the first floor, the restaurant was open to the public and those clients were send upstairs or to the basement.
Good food, it was nice to have the TVs on to follow the games with no sound,

I ordered 2 dozen XL crabs for carry-out in Jun’24. I picked them up, but there was an issue with the order. I called the managers (Michael & Tim) to provide my feedback, and they were extremely understanding and courteous. They worked with me to resolve the issue to my satisfaction. The replacement order that they provided to me recently was of excellent quality, with the crabs steaming hot, full of meat, and perfectly seasoned. I would strongly recommend choosing The Avenue for delicious crabs and excellent customer service. I look forward to ordering more crabs from them in the future.

The weird guy with the man bun and the mind of chubby server both gave my buddy a raspberry on his tummy. Was very strange would not recommend this place to anyone. My buddy still had the teeth marks to prove it. On top of that they served us squid which no one ordered or wanted, very strange hate this place. Man bun guy is horrible

My family friends and I went here for our friends birthday and it was a terrible experience. They treated us rudely as soon as we got a table. My friends order was wrong and he respectfully asked for a remake. The manager with a man bun proceeded to come out and told us we could not get a remake and was extremely rude about it saying we should go somewhere else if we don’t want their food. My friend told asked if he could not pay for the order and the manager inappropriately put his hands on my friend and started grabbing and squeezing his belly. Terrible restaurant.

Brunch. Wonderful staff. The scrambled eggs were unpleasantly salty. Almost inedible. Same with the chorizo. We all had the same experience.

All thanks to the bartender grace. Her name is very appropriate for she handles herself with grace and is a fantastic server as well as bartender. She makes my visit every time I see her and I always leave with a smile

Went here just now. There was only one person working inside the dining area. It took us an hour to get our food after sitting down. My burger was underdone and the fries weren't seasoned so I wasn't able to finish my food. Waiter was doing her best but couldn't provide good service because she was the only one there. Management should staff the restaurant better if they want to charge $20 for a burger and fries. Definitely the worst restaurant I've tried in the area so far.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Very pleasant to sit indoors or outdoors on a nice evening. We each had burgers (mine was a Beyond Burger). Both were delicious, with nice extras. My drink (blood orange margarita) was great. Burgers were half-price - I don't know if this is a regular Monday night thing. Key lime pie was unusual but delicious for dessert. Highly recommended.

Limited menu with sandwiches and sides, but no entrees. They were out of many of the items on the menu. This was our 2nd time there and this has happened both times. We won't be going back. Also, no decaf coffee.
