The food and service was great as always but since dining in 2023 it was noticeable some of the portions of the appetizers had changed. I am glad I took pictures from 2023 because I thought I was going crazy. We tried the bao con lechon (x2), the She crab soup, the Japanese peaches, churassco, and the octopus. Everything was delicious including our drinks. We really enjoyed Kitty as our server and all of Kitty's recommendations were appreciated.
The hostess ruined the whole experience. We arrived earlier than our reservation. The hosted made it a point and empathized that our reservation was not at the time that we arrived and that we were going to be seated closed to our reservation time. We were hungry so I went to check again on our table (closer to the time of our reservation) and the hostess emphasized again that was not time for our reservation; we got punished by asking again by finally getting our table 10 minutes...
Celebrated my wife's birthday at the Waldorf Astoria in DC. Dinner at The Bazaar was the highlight of the celebration! Chef Andres menu, preparation and presentation is beyond amazing! The staff attend to every detail as well!!! You must experience The Bazaar!!
