The always elegant Hay Adams! It is always a treat to dine here. I was sad however to see the crab Benedict is no longer on the menu, and that the Fiji water in its silver holder was not part of the table setting any longer.
This is an exquisite high end restaurant. You can tell when you walk in the door that this is something special. It has a beautiful traditional ambiance only see in the finest establishments. This spills over into every aspect, from the cocktails to the wines and the entrees to the desserts. The service is impeccable. What more could you ask for?
The Lafayette Restaurant is amazing from the impeccable service, attention to detail and delicious food. This is the third year my husband and I have dined at the Lafayette. If you enjoy cloth covered tables, soft piano music, attentive service, and great food you need to make a reservation at the Lafayette- located in the Hay Adam's Hotel - across from the White House.
