Come here for view of White House, classic dining area or if you are staying at the hotel, but not the overpriced food. Tasty health smoothy, a small jar of ketchup, 2 sausage, 4 pieces of potato, half a grilled avocado accompanied omelette. While ok does not justify the price. Clean opulent dining room, white table cloth, service was excellent throughout.
The restaurant is beautiful, the food is spectacular, but the most impressive part is the service. The team working there is made up of incredibly kind people — from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, they’re super attentive. I was helped by José, and it was a 10/10 experience.
First, there is someone to greet you outside the hotel with valet parking. This is an area on 16th street, directly in front of the WH (formerly BLM Blvd). Very populated, removes any stress to find a place to park. Lovely lobby seating as you wait for your whole party to arrive. Lafayette Restaurant hostess greeted us.
