“I don't come to bars often. This place may be changing that. We were part of a large group. Tons of orders for drinks and goods being placed. The staff was very professional and fast. I'm not sure how they got everything right. The fried Rice with shrimp eggs and corn was delicious. Too many places over cook fried rice. Not an issue here. Run of the mill beers like Corona , Stella and Heineken are quite affordable as well.“
“We went here on Sunday during peak cherry blossom season. It was slammed! We found a table and our server came by pretty quickly. We ordered a few beers and a few appetizers, but the beers never showed. When the food came the beers came. They brought us complimentary specialty drinks in tiki glasses to make up for their mistake. We had the poke bowl and spam sushi, both were great. I've never had spam sushi even though I knew it was popular.I was amazed the food was as good as it was because again it packed. We were so tired from walking that mediocre food and cold drinks would have been enough to make us happy. When I walked in and was looking for our table a man in the kitchen welcomed me and said thanks for coming. Very cool people.Every restaurant down at the wharf had a line out the door.“
“Did Saturday brunch at Coco B's and it was absolutely one of my favorite brunches in the entire DC area! The restaurant itself was very cool, turned what used to be whitlow's into a super nice vibe. Started with the guacamole and yucca fries for apps, both were awesome and a very sizeable portion size on the guac which was nice. Our group had several different meals including the breakfast burrito, avocado toast, hangover burger, and breakfast platter - we were all raving about each of our dishes, so good! The service was also amazing and brought all our items quickly and nailed every meal with any customizations we had requested. And we did the bottomless mimosas for $20 and they had a bunch of different fun flavors for us to get, and the staff was super on top of the refills, taking care of us whenever we were getting low/empty! Definitely will be back to this new spot, especially when the weather warms up and the roof opens! Can't wait!“
“Had an absolute blast here the other night - atmosphere is on point with the spooky fun vibe, drinks were excellent (particularly liked the negroni with activated charcoal), and the food was tasty elevated bar snacks. Get a group of friends and go!“
“We went here for Happy Hour (4pm - 7pm) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We ordered the Yumami burger, Pinoy fries, Lumpiang Shanghai, Mumbo wings, BBQ pork skewers, and crispy chicken skin plus 4 N/A beverages. Everything was served hot and fresh and was well-seasoned.The main things I did not like were:- Mandatory 20% service fee on all tickets- The music was very loud and it was dark- $19 for 2 hours of parkingParking: $12 for 1 hour; $19 for 2 hoursWheelchair accessibility: Not accessible at all“
