I think the food here is amazing. Try the fried wontons, very very good. Everything here is much better than average Chinese food. Try the roast pork lo mein and tell me that wasn’t incredible. It’s an old school restaurant where the service is unreal good. The dining room is special and something you’ll never see elsewhere. This is truly a hidden gem in Chinatown (which everyone should see) or even for all of DC.

Tony Cheng’s Restaurant is hands-down the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. A longtime favorite, it somehow keeps getting better. Every dish is flawless—bold, balanced, and deeply authentic. The recent remodel elevates the experience even further. This is a DC must.
