I got my partner and I tickets to attend a cooking class at Toscana Market for his birthday. We really enjoyed the intimacy of the experience, and had a great date night making some delicious food. We attended the Indian-Italian fusion class, and were excited to experience some Indian twists on Italian classics. We started with a Cauliflower "Ossobuco", where we learned about different Indian spices and prepped the cauliflowers for the oven. Then, we made ravioli and gnocchi. It was really cool to learn about the steps in traditional italian pasta making, and I will definitely used the techniques learned in the class to make pasta at home! After we finished forming our gnocchi and filling our pasta, all the pastas and sauces were cooked by the staff as we enjoyed some wine. After we enjoyed our meal, the amount of leftovers was enormous! The value and quality of this experience was excellent. Our only complaint was that the menu ended up being very different from what it was advertised as: there wasn't really any Indian Fusion dishes. However, all the food was delicious and the wine was bottomless, so we had a great time overall!

Last year I went with my husband to take the ravioli and cheesecake class, we loved it, the teacher was super good, the space is beautiful, comfortable and they make you really enjoy the experience

We were charged for a pick up order and when we showed up to pick it up, the restaurant was "closed for a private event." They denied all incoming calls, kept the our money, and no food was available to pick up. Felt like we were scammed. I can't reach the restaurant to process a refund or the software "Clover" that they use for pick ups.

I did not have a positive experience here. The person who took my order was visibly annoyed when I was not ready to order within 30 seconds of arriving. And then there was a piece of ice in my sandwich. The sandwich itself was quite odd - it was really hot but then had romaine lettuce on the inside of it. The sandwich also said it came with a lemon vinegarette, but there was balsamic on it instead. I will not be coming here again.

Incredible food, but what really sets this place apart is their cooking classes. The classes are in high demand so you have to get your tickets in advance, but it is well worth it. We had a bunch of regulars attending with us, so we knew it was going to be a great time. The owner, who instructs the class, is very kind, patient, and generous. He took his time teaching and answering questions, provided more than enough supplies, and did everything he could to ensure we had a wonderful experience. We started with a cocktail and fresh focaccia bread. The marinara sauce with the bread and some other dishes was the tastiest sauce I’ve ever had. There was a self serve station for water and wine throughout the class. We made a fried risotto appetizer, pizza, spinach and cheese ravioli, and gnocchi. The owner and his staff gave one-on-one instruction when needed, and were very nice and helpful. We gave the staff everything we had prepared to be cooked in the kitchen. Our dishes were returned hot and ready for a delicious meal. There was so much food we were provided with to go containers and had it for several meals afterwards. We were also treated to limoncello gelato and limoncello shots at the very end of the class. This class was so fun and informative, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The quality ingredients, experience, drinks, and food were well worth the price. Highly recommend!

Food is often not ready even after I receive a text that says it’s ready. Orders frequently take an hour. Quality is extremely inconsistent and sometimes not edible.

Stopped in for lunch and some goodies on a Saturday afternoon. Walked in and there was a small group at one table and nobody else in the store. We looked through the coolers and wanted to buy several things, but the staff couldn't be bothered with assisting us. We waited 10 minutes for their assistance while they were oblivious to us. If you run a business and can't take care of a customer somebody else will. So for as much as we wanted to try what we picked out, we put it back and spent our $ elsewhere.

Pasta was definitely homemade. Sauce however was a little band and very liquid like, so the pasta didn't absorb any of the flavor. I want to come to try to gelato. Few tables for seating. Would come just for a quick lunch if I was craving Italian.

So I came here because I heard it was one of the stops for the donut tours and I love Italian donuts - the bomboloni which I'm no stranger to. So coming here in the early Sunday afternoon was supposed to be a delight. When I came, I found a pretty sizeable staff behind the counter. The vast majority of the cafe chairs were stacked up and the inside didn't appear to be clean and organized as a result. I wasn't sure what to think of this place - was it a bakery? Not really even though there was focaccia sitting out. Was it a market? Not really, with limited offerings for purchase. Was it a gelato shop? A pasta shop? No and no, not really. It's a mix of everything and yet not having everything. In a way it is kind of like an Italian convenience store, stocked with goods ready to be bought and taken home. An alimentari. I was surprised to see a wide variety of fillings for the bomboloni which is something I've not seen elsewhere. Usually it's two to four different fillings. Here, it's way more. I ended up ordering two things, thankfully - since if I had only ordered the standard bomboloni (with pastry cream), my rating for this place would have been pretty dismal. The second thing I ordered was the porchetta sandwich which came with salsa verde, rapini, and cheese. And surprisingly, even without any other regular sandwich fixings, this sandwich was one of the best I've had in a very long time. It was to worthy despite it being relatively small for a $13 price tag that did not include any sides.Sadly, what brought this rating down was the bomboloni. I was given a bomboloni that obviously wasn't freshly made, it was cold as if it had been in the fridge in a long time. The dough was so condensed, and tasted a bit raw. The filling was also gelled as if it had been in the fridge for too long as well. It was by far one of the worst bomboloni I've had that I couldn't even finish up the donut. It was a waste of $3.50.So this is what made reviewing this place hard - I had the best and the worst experience here when it came to good, in one single visit. Im a bit scarred by the bomboloni that I don't think I can come back for it at all. But if it was up to me, I would take this place out of the donut tour rotation, unfortunately. Perhaps and hopefully the unique gelato truffles are a better buy.
