The food was good but they charged my card 7$ more than the check said. Could have been an honest mistake, although I think I could have been because I used a metal card.

I wish I could give more balanced feedback, unfortunately the food was so terrible that I couldn't say anything nice about this restaurant. So I have to pull out a full Gordon Ramsey. While I did order a buttered dish, it was swimming in it. It might as well have been a butter dish rather that a pasta dish because the pasta and shrimp were drowning in butter! The food also tasted freezer burned. This would make a true Italian cry! Whoever the chef is, I think they need to go back to the fast food industry and stay away from "fine dining". I'm happy that I was able to get a refund for my food (Grubhub), but.... This is just so terrible that I don't think I'll ever order from here again. McDonald's is less greasy and processed than this food, and that's saying something! Lol I don't ever eat at McDonald's!!

My daughter and I went to his restaurant for dinner. We wanted an inexpensive Italian place in her neighborhood. As we walked in the door music, Mexican or Central American music was playing. The place was empty except for two men, talking loudly in Spanish,at the bar. Once seated the server increased the volume albeit slightly. We were served water. The atmosphere, music, decor, we're not Italian. The menu did have Italian items along with other items ( not Hispanic). We could not wrap our heads around the place. It was uncomfortable. We got up, told the server we were not staying. She was kind and understanding.I speak Spanish. My wife is South American, and I've traveled extensively in Central and South America. I might expect a similar atmosphere there, but in DC? It was mind bending.

The food is pretty good but don't trust the posted hours. This place is open whenever they feel like being open. I had a really good French onion soup and an okay chicken piccatta.

The chicken piccata was very bad. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

A super quirky place. I came at 7pm on a Monday. My table was the only party eating for the entire duration of our stay, so it was not busy to be sure. A handful of people sat at the bar, seemingly regulars making conversation with the staff. This restaurant seems to be part of the local Latino community (as with many in this neighborhood), as all the clientele and staff spoke Spanish. The service was lacking, but that was ameliorated somewhat given that we were the only customers that needed to be served. I had to put our menus back in the stack once we ordered, and I had to find napkins for our table. The wait staff seemed unprepared to refill our water glasses, and asked us whether bottled water would be alright (thankfully pre-chilled). The food came out relatively quickly, although I was given the wrong order at first. The correct order came out within five minutes thereafter. The food was tasty. It was nothing amazing, but I would eat it again. The quirkiness shines through in the decor. Exposed-brick patter wallpaper was interrupted with a scene from a tropical island beach. A pleasant sight, but not one I'd put in the archetypical Italian restaurant. Spanish pop music played, often loud, sometimes much quieter.

Great eatery for Italian cuisine. Open late even at midnight. Delicious.

In desperate need of late night pizza and this place hit the spot. Had to wait a little bit so best to call ahead if you just want to pickup. But wasn’t upset after my first bite. Thanks for the service!

I was waiting for the food to be ready in "4 minutes" which turn into over 15 minutes for an Ubereats pick up. It was so not worth waiting even if the pay was decent.
