My daughter and I went to his restaurant for dinner. We wanted an inexpensive Italian place in her neighborhood.As we walked in the door music, Mexican or Central American music was playing. The place was empty except for two men, talking loudly in Spanish,at the bar. Once seated the server increased the volume albeit slightly.We were served water. The food is pretty good but don't trust the posted hours. This place is open whenever they feel like being open. I had a really good French onion soup and an okay chicken piccatta.
A super quirky place. I came at 7pm on a Monday. My table was the only party eating for the entire duration of our stay, so it was not busy to be sure. A handful of people sat at the bar, seemingly regulars making conversation with the staff. This restaurant seems to be part of the local Latino community (as with many in this neighborhood), as all the clientele and staff spoke Spanish.
