I️ asked the bartended to make me a sweet drink with whiskey. Instead it tasted extremely sour. I️ asked him to add something sweet to it. The bartender dumps out half of my drink, adds soda, then charges me $19. This man clearly doesn’t know how to bartend. He should not be working at inexpensive place as such. The view is great. The bartenders such and the prices are way too high. I️ do not recommend this place.

Came here on a freezing, windy night so expectations may need to be adjusted. First, I never knew about this place until friends recommended it that lived in the area. You basically need to enter a lobby and get in the elevator that points you automatically to the floor of this bar. Second, the place is pretty small and I'm not sure what kind of atmosphere they are going for. There are only a few couches and a dozen or so bar stools outside of the actual bar area on the inside of this place. I'm sure the balcony has its perks when the weather isn't miserable. In terms of drinks, they are good, not great. You can easily get better drinks for half the price at the MGM a couple of miles away, or dozens of other bars in the DC area. Overall, though, it can be a cool place to have a date. However, be aware of the parking situation if you don't live in this area.

Good times at this place. It is small inside but does have a good size outside area. It's part of the Hilton so if you are staying would be good place to start or finish your night. I went right around sunset, so the scene was beautiful as it overlooked the wharf walk, and you can even see the bonfire when it's lit. I didn't have any food, but I heard people saying it was good. I did have a glass of red wine, and my friends had a non alcoholic drink called a dragon fly. She said it was sweet, so if that is what you like while being a DD, this would definitely be for you. It's the wharf, so there is street and parking garage parking. I would definitely go back and looking fwd to trying the outside area when it warms back up

We decided to check out nearby places for a nice drink and stumbled upon Whiskey Charlie at the Canopy Hotel by the Wharf on Oct 21. We arrived around 9:30 pm via Uber, went upstairs, and ordered a Vodka Cosmo and a Vodka Cranberry. After having a quick drink, we checked the bill, which is around $30-40, and we signed it. We left early to explore more spots.To our shock, when we returned from our vacation, we were charged a whopping $464 for just two drinks. I've been trying to reach out to their managers (Babak Pakravan), but they seem to be avoiding my calls and not addressing the issue. I've even disputed the charge through my bank.Charging $464 for two drinks is nothing short of outrageous and feels like fraud. What's even more disappointing is that the Canopy Hotel just took my information and did nothing, with promises of getting the Whiskey Charlie manager to contact me. This experience has left a bitter taste, and I would caution others to be wary of these establishments. What a true shame on you guys.Update——————————————updateChristiana(Canopy hotel manager) I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your exceptional assistance in rectifying the mistaken charge on my card because of a typo. Cullen and Matt were amazing. Great bartenders and amazing vibe. However, food? Much to be desired. The leg of lamb shawarma and the food overall, flavorless. I miss the old menu and the the food flat they used to serve. The outside area is nice and i can appreciate wanting to elevate the menu bit this isn't it. Bring back the old menu and let me order wings. Just saying. But the bartenders? A1.
