I had a chicken shawarma pita sandwich today. The shawarma marinade was flavorful, but the tahini sauce was underwhelming. Additionally, Mediterranean/Middle Eastern spots are known for their generous portions, but this one was disappointing in that regard. Unfortunately, it didn’t feel worth the price.

We recently went to DC and decided to try this mediterranean restaurant. We had a couple of wraps and a platter. The chicken shawarma wrap was quite good, and the shish tawooq wrap was also decent. From the platter, fries, labneh, and hummus - all were fresh and tasty - chicken shawarma was okay, but the beef shawarma was a let down. We later came to know the platter cost 55 bucks (menu doesn’t show its price - we should’ve asked) and definitely not value for money. We didn’t...

Great spot for a casual dinner! Located in the heart of Union Market, Yasmine is a lively, bustling Mediterranean spot serving up delicious wraps, salads, and platters. I came by for a quick bite on Friday evening, and the Market was packed. We managed to snag a seat at the long table next to Yasmine and split their Friday special, the falafel wrap.
