“I would like to applaud this Chick-fil-A located in Bear, Delaware for more than just great food and service. My friend’s son, who’s a Muslim, recently started working at this location. It is known that these franchises were started by Christians which is why they close on Sundays. My laudation of this particular location is because this young man asked his superiors would he be allowed to pray as an employee at Chick-fil-A because he’s a Muslim whose faith mandates that he pray at certain times. Some establishments would have refused his request but this Christian-based business allowed him to pray which showed religious tolerances and I’d like to thank this business for not being discriminatory towards individuals because of their religious belief“

“Went for lunch with my son. We ate on the patio. It was cozy, quaint. Beautiful weather made it even more enjoyable. The food options were great; different from the same old same old. The waitress was busy but brought our drinks and food in a timely manner. Can’t wait to go back.“

“Best BBQ we've eaten in years. Ribs were moist, marinated, and seasoned to perfection. Chicken was amazing. Kids couldn't get enough of the corn bread and pineapple ice tea. I can't speak highly enough about this shop and the great service. Owners have been cooking the recipes for generations. Its open on the weekends. If you've never traveled to Port Penn, DE your missing out. Its only 30 minutes south of Wilmington. Great place to get away from the hustle & bustle of WilmingtonNewark. And thanks again for the great service! Can't wait to swing by again next week ;). We still have to try the desserts, which i'm sure will be amazing. P.S. They 100% make an in-house bbq sauce that will knock your socks off! : ).“

“When my company arrived from Kansas and Indiana in April, I took them to Crabby Dick's in Delaware City and they absolutely loved it! They especially enjoyed the crab cakes and Maryland Crab soup. I got my usual favorite, steamed clams! Our server's name was either Mattie or Maddie. Not sure of the spelling, but she was outstanding. We were there on April 22nd.“

“Drove through Delaware on a lunch stop and found this cozy spot. Located downtown. I was literally chair dancing as I ate my Philly, Philly slider. My smoking hot man had Got the Black n Blues sliders. Great combination of flavors and a nice little addition of prosciutto and balsamic reduction. Talk about an explosion of flavors in your mouth!! The Chipotle lime coleslaw has a nice kick to it, and the sweet heat pickles are just as amazing. Hands down 10 out of 10 recommend DE Slider Co.“

In the middle of a busy area (Trolley Square) and across from a shopping plaza and near a supermarket. On street parking.“

“This diner is amazing! They helped me pull together a surprise 50th birthday party for my mom! From great communication leading up to the event, great food, great service they nailed everything! We had about 25 people, had a personalized menu with some added details! They were so accommodating! We truly had the best time and my mom said it was her best birthday ever and a dream come true!! “Had Breakfast with my Brothers while they are all in town was very good was very interested in your menu nice loud Sunday breakfast crowd loved it, well decorated and exceptionally clean, great wait staff, tried the home made scrapple it was very good also had locally sourced bacon very good had the daily special omelette with squash and zucchini perfectly made. My only comment is the breakfast sides are potatoes or fresh fruit with grapes neither good for diabetics would have loved to seen maybe cottage cheese or fiber dry fruit option like grape fruit or melons. “Nice Japanese food and bubble tea inside the mall with decent portion.
Ordered the regular bowl, with half rice and half salad base. You can choose up to 7 toppings.
For the 2 scoops of meat, my go-to are squid salad and shrimp tempura. The sushi rice is lightly seasoned, and it go well with any sauce of your choice (I have tried Wasabi aoli – overall sweet with a hint of spiciness from wasabi and sweet mango)
The bubble tea is alright. I have tried their Dark oolong bubble tea and brown sugar bubble milk tea. The bubbles are on the smaller and softer side, not my favorite but more personal preference. The tea flavor is very mild and milkier than I would like.“

“Got their Detroit style meatball pizza and I honestly think it was the best thick crust pizza I've ever had in my life and in my top 3 best pizzas overall of all time. It certainly was my first Detroit style pizza, which is kind of sad because I'm from MI!

The crust was perfection. The bottom was perfectly crispy with that baked on cheese along the sides and the inside was pillowy with an almost sponge-like consistency (in the best possible way!). The quality of the toppings, including the meatballs and ricotta cheese were top notch. I absolutely gorged myself and have zero guilt about it. It was worth every calorie! lol This was my first time having their food and I'm definitely looking forward to future visits.

The only minor hiccup I had was with the delivery service. I ordered through the Slice App and the delivery fee was almost $7.00 + 20% tip and they didn't even use any sort of insulated bag. By the time I got my delivery (after at least one, possibly two other stops before me - I could see the delivery car on the map), my pizza was not warm at all and was just sitting on the drivers front seat before he handed it to me. How is a $25 insulated bag not required for both food quality and food safety?

Seems like it would be a no-brainer investment to make for a food delivery service, especially if they're making multiple deliveries in a single trip. Fortunately, I was able to freshen it back up on my pizza stone and the rest is delicious history.

I've still going to give them a 5* overall rating because I'm not entirely sure if it's the restaurant or a 3rd party service who handles delivery, but there should be some improvements made as far as how customer food is transported.“

“This is the best Chick-fil-A. it's the typical salty Chick-fil-A food that should be enjoyed in moderation, of course, but this particular location has really great service. The lobby is pretty large, and the play place really gives you an option for a fun place to take your little ones. They have this place well-staffed on all shifts, and there are usually workers floating around the lobby making sure the customers have everything they need. This kind of service is getting rare at many fast food establishments. There is never a huge wait here, and if they forget something, there is usually someone nearby you can flag down to fix it quickly. So many other fast food chains are really suffering and the experience has
tanked in quality because there just aren't enough adequately trained people on any given shift to take your order, make and serve your food *and* keep the place clean and the drink, condiments, and supplies stocked and operational. This place is always busy, and it's because people can rely on good service.

Kid-friendliness: They have family nights with games, activities, and promos where they partner with other businesses and organizations. The cow comes out to pose for pictures with the kids too. The play place is always helpful for younger kids to make friends and have some fun.“
