“We sat at the bar for a quick bite on our way home from OC tonight. Our server was MEGAN, very friendly, very attentive & fun to chat with. Every employee we encountered was personable, something that's hard to come by lately. Our drinks (Long Island Iced Tea) & food (chipotle salad bowl w/shrimp & chipotle quesadilla explosion w grilled chicken) were delicious!! Highly recommend!!“

“I have been visiting the border Cafe and had a good experience overall. The food is tasty, but the menu is a bit limited compared to other restaurants. However, the waitress sometimes forgets a few things, and we noticed the bill had an extra item once and another time something we ordered was missing, so it’s a good idea to double-check the bill before paying.

One thing I really liked is that there was no wait time when we visited, which made the experience convenient. They also have a fun theme at times and staff may dress based on the occasion, which adds a nice touch to the atmosphere.

“Went to a show last Thursday evening and stopped here for the first time. No one eating inside but don’t let that stop you. They were closing in less than an hour so street traffic was light. We had the mushroom bowl (brown rice, kale, garlic cilantro sauce,…) and a mushroom taco. Both were excellent. The young man and women behind the counter were friendly, helpful, professional, and engaging. I highly recommend this location.“

“Honestly is the best food I've ever had. I love this place so much The one in trolley square is really great a little bit small so in the summer when the lines build up it's a little crazy but totally worth it. My 6-year-old little girl fell in love with this place and it is now her favorite restaurant and they are always so sweet to her The food is amazing and it's gotten her to try all kinds of new stuff that she never would have in the first place.
