“I’ve attended 2 concerts here and thoroughly enjoyed both! The atmosphere is great. Bartenders are nice and quick. Bathrooms are pretty clean, considering. Not sure why this place only has 3.8 stars. I’m only in town once a year and make sure to attend a concert every time we are in town.“

“I loved this place because it was so vibrant, the food was so good and to be more specific, the cheese pizza. One problem about this place was how they handle the place when it rains. When it rains the outside space gets wet the rain goes through the curtain and pours on the closest person to it.

The atmosphere was exceptional and the light brought out the liveliness. The service was fast and we were seated in a minute and got food and drinks a little while later. In conclusion this place was very fun and had one problem that I believe could be fixed easily.“

“Casual but gourmet food. My husband loved his steak-frites and salad. I had the crabcakes with absolutely perfect coleslaw (fresh, with light mayo dressing and plenty of citrus) - even comes with a side — I chose roasted Brussels sprouts which were excellent. No room for dessert but we’ve been to Rigby’s in the past for drinks, and I’ve gotten a slice of their key lime pie or their cheesecake with raspberry coulis — both homemade by John, I was told, and both superb. Server was a lovely, attentive young woman. There are some incredible winter food specials this time of year — prime rib, I think on Friday nights, for example. Rigby’s is unusual in offering specials even on weekends in the off-season so check it out before busy springtime hits.“

“My guests and I did not go to Blue Coast expecting 25% off on Weds night. But we got it! We picked Blue Coast for its great food, lovely ambiance, and outstanding service. They delivered all of that! Again. Thank you to our server, Kelsey, and the entire team. We had a lovely evening. And what a surprise to receive 25% off on Weds night. We ordered appetizers and dessert to make up the difference of the discount.“

“Salads were good. Waitress was great, hostess was nasty. Shrimp was just okay, but the lobster roll turned me off of lobster rolls for a while. Had a fishier taste than fish! Tasted nothing like lobster, and served with that nasty warm oil, not butter.“

I've been coming to Arena's for [years], and it's still one of my favorite stops downtown. Every busy beach restaurant has an off night, and I've read a few recent reviews that don't match what I've seen.

Last time I was in, Dana took care of us. They were warm, quick, and on top of everything even with the place packed. The French Dip came out hot and generous, and the fries were just as good as always. Arena's has been feeding this town since 1990 and has won Delaware Today's best sandwich and best bar awards, and on a good day you can taste why.

If something isn't right, just tell the staff. In my experience they fix it without any fuss. Grab a patio table (bring the dog), go on a Wednesday for half-price sandwiches, and order the Death Fries.

Arena's is a local institution for a reason. Support the people who keep it running!“

“My girlfriend and I came in for dinner, got sat quick and had Parker as our server. Wasn’t quite sure what to get but Parker helped me look over the menu and explained what most of the items were and his recommendations. Had great conversation with him and felt very welcomed. Definitely will be coming back for not only the food but to sit in Parker’s section!“

“I came for dinner and ordered the fresh tuna and it was delicious, cooked perfectly. The cucumber sauce was a nice touch and the vegetables were crisp and not saturated with oils or butter. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and I will be back.“
