“Really great place! Took away a star because the guy who seated us seemed to be annoyed with us
There were only 2 waitresses working so service was a bit slow but we were enjoying the night and loved not feeling rushed. We loved that the waitress was good at communicating with us on the status of our food so we never felt forgotten.
Will definitely eat there again!“
“Bottle and Cork offers a quintessential American Dewey Beach experience. Both locals and tourists rave about this lively spot as the go-to place for weekend fun. The venue is buzzing with energy, reminiscent of a "battle of the bands" with its vibrant live music scene.
Upon arrival, there's a $10 per person cover charge, which is conveniently offset by a complimentary beer or hard seltzer. This upfront fee is well worth it. The service is impressive, with waitresses in distinctive hello shoes circulating with buckets of canned drinks, making it easy to enjoy more beverages without needing to wait at the bar.
Overall, Bottle and Cork embodies the classic beach town bar vibe, making it a must-visit if you're new to Dewey Beach. It’s an excellent choice for a fun night out with great music and a lively atmosphere.“

“Rusty Rudders is definitely THE spot to go to for nightlife in Dewey! This is my second year in a row coming here, and it never disappoints. The music is amazing, with two dance floors—live music outside and a DJ inside. The drinks are good, and the vibes are incredible. Huge shoutout to DJ Knappy for absolutely killing it! This place gets busy, but it’s definitely worth the $10 cover at night. If you’re looking for a great night out in Dewey, Rusty Rudders is the place to be!“

“Wow, I was blown away by the fantastic "Not Your Average Pepperoni Pizza"! This pepperoni pizza had just the right spice for an amazing flavor. Very nice atmosphere, good beer, and wine selection for a perfect afternoon in Lewes. My wife also thoroughly enjoyed the smoked Margherita pizza. If you like pizza in a relaxing atmosphere, this is the place come. Stop by Half Full when you are in Lewes for an outstanding pizza.“

“While visiting family, I had the opportunity to visit this establishment for happy hour. Judging by the outside (strip mall appearance), I definitely was not expecting such a well decorated place, not to mention great food and drinks.
The space is big and spread out, it is SUPER clean and beautiful on the inside. The happy hour menu was not only great and quality but it was dirt cheap, something I’m definitely not used to. $7 crushes and $10 meals.
I had the 3 daughters burger which was cooked nothing short of perfect the way I asked for it. Was delicious. Others had the Buffalo Chicken Flat Bread, clams and sliders which they enjoyed.
Our waiters were fantastic, fast, polite and personable. Played some great tunes and they have a very nice stage for live music. Also have neon signs lining the walls with famous lyrics. Do yourself a favor and stop in, you won’t be disappointed.“
“What a beautiful evening! I've never been to the Taproom. I've never listened to The Dip. Two hours later, I became a big fan of both. First, the place. No way a joint at the end of 24 behind the McDonald's and across the street from a Royal Farms can have any soul. I was wrong. It does. It is terrific. Everybody that works there is on the same page. And man, you can feel it. What a great space. And the band. The place and the band were in harmony. And the band. Jesus. People between the ages of 21 and 75 were feeling it. And those guys gave all that joy without the hint of arrogance. And they are so good that they could be arrogant. But they are not. Genuine. True. Honest. Terrific. The place. The band. Thank you! Both.“

“My husband and I came here for a date night on Friday of seawitch weekend and it was AMAZING. Our server was soooo attentive and sweet. She also never ever made us feel rushed, she spent time answering all of our menu questions and chatting with us even though the restaurant was busy- she was able to be attentive to all her tables while still making us feel like she had time for us (I wish I could remember her name- you know who you are though!! You told me the story about the walnuts in the pesto situation ?) oh and the food. SO GOOD. She told us it's a "from scratch" kitchen and although we didn't have a long wait for our food, even if we did it would have been worth it. We had Moscow mules also which were delish. Definitely try this new place out!“

“I hadn’t been to Lewes, DE since 1991-1992, so while exploring and seeing what has changed. I happened upon Irish Eyes Pub & Restaurant, which I learned opened in 1996. I never pass an opportunity for a pint or the traditional Irish meals an Irish pub offers. I was a bit concerned I might have to wait because the parking lot and streets were full. I walked in and was immediately seated. The inside is huge. Lots of seating. They were setting up for live music inside, so I opted for a table out on the deck and watch the sunset.
I ordered a pint of Guinness, portobello fries, and the corned beef and cabbage for dinner. Irish Eyes did not disappoint! The portobello mushroom fries were a hearty size. Easily could have been shared. It is no exaggeration that I had the absolute best corned beef and cabbage that I’ve ever tasted in numerous restaurants and pubs over the years. It was just fabulous. It is no wonder Irish eyes is celebrating 30 years here.
I was too full for desert, but was not rushed after my meal and was able to enjoy the atmosphere and live music for a bit. As I was leaving, I could see a lot of happy faces. People were talking, laughing, and enjoying themselves as one might expect. There were even a few who had taken to the dance floor in front of the live band.
This is definitely a place I recommend you visit if you’re looking for an Irish pub in the Lewes or Rehoboth beach area.
Parking: Although the parking lot and side street parking may be full, there will still be plenty of seating. Don’t be deterred, just find a spot somewhere and head on in.
Wheelchair accessibility: Irish eyes has a nice, gradual, switchback ramp that makes entry and exit to the pub and restaurant easy for everyone.“
“A great place to stop for a quick bite on the boardwalk. Had a drink and decided to getc food while there last week on our first night in Rehoboth. Awesome view while sipping on your favorite cocktail! I also recommend the Bang Bang Shrimp Taco Wrap. Messy, but delicious!“
