The food, people, and overall ambiance was phenomenal and I will now recommend this restaurant as my go to when I have visitors.The truffled Mac and cheese was “light” and had tons of flavor, and the little crust of breadcrumbs on top elevate it further. The hanger steak was cooked to the perfect medium rare and had a balance of flavor that didn’t take away from the quality of the meat being the first thing I noticed when I ate each and every bite.Owners Ellen (and Todd) were active in the kitchen and the bar, and still made time to check in to make sure everything was great. I had course 1 - A seafood chowder. Course 2 - Seared scallops in a very light mushroom sauce. Course 3 - Large stuffed shrimp with crab meat.“
“I am from Michigan - heading back home after a 2 week vacation. On my last day in the area, I stopped here for breakfast. It was delicious! The staff was kind. The atmosphere was calm. The resturant was beautiful and quaint. Everything my sister and I ordered was perfect. Even the water tasted good. They made sure i had enough to fill my jug for the ride home. “A tiny, tastefully appointed eatery tucked away in Lewes. We just stumbled across it for lunch while walking the downtown area. The panini were excellent and the coffee, surprisingly, was one of the best cups I've ever had. Really! I will come back again, if for no other reason than to get another cup of that superbly memorable coffee!“

Our lunch of a Turkey Sub and BLT were very good. One miss was that it would have been nice to have a glass of wine or a beer.“

“Great food but I sat at the bar and when I went to pay I told the bartender for the change. There was barely any one at the bar 5 of us and every one had food or already ate. He took the money put it in the register and B lined it to the kitchen and stood there on the phone. So we left knowing he's not coming out till we leave. I give 20 plus percent all the time but this was to much. So bring plenty of bills so you don't have this problem.“
“We love eating here but tonight we were a bit disappointed in the food. My husband ordered the tempura battered catfish, and I had a panini with fries. The bread on the panini was black and burned, the fries while not quite burned, were definitely several shades beyond golden, and the batter on the catfish was also burned. The food tasted fine. Our server did offer to take it back to the kitchen to make it right, but we declined. The food tasted just fine, but just cooked a lot more than we like.We will go back. “Stopped by on a whim for a weekday lunch. Nice selection of sandwiches and we settled on a Philly cheesesteak and a turkey club sandwich (sandwiches come with chips - the up charge for fries was $4). Portions are large and we ended up each taking half a sandwich home (you can split a meal for an extra $3.99). The cheesesteak was pretty good - lots of meat and nice flavor. Added mayo, lettuce, and tomato. The turkey club is not a traditional club - this one had only two slices of bread (not toasted) with turkey piled high, jack cheese, avocado, and arugula. While I don't mind arugula, I did most of it off because the taste was overpowering for the sandwich. Service was excellent and all the staff worked together. We ended up splitting a slice of chocolate mousse cake which was delicious. The menu has many daily specials and we plan to return to try the burgers and wings. Plenty of TVs to watch sports - cool place for casual American food.“

“Ordered delivery which I have done several times in the past. I have always been delighted with the food. This time I got two of my favorites… wedge salad and buffalo wings. The salad was cold and crispy. The wings have crispy skin and the meat falls off the bone. Highly recommend!“
