“This is hands down our absolute favorite spot in Bethany Beach! We have a home nearby, and pretty much every bike ride to the beach includes a stop at Defebos Market to pick up some goodies for the day.

You really can’t go wrong with any of their hoagies or paninis. Everything is so fresh and delicious! And the pastries… oh my goodness. You HAVE to try the lobster tail pastry, cinnamon roll, or berry and cream puff. They are seriously amazing!

And don’t even get me started on the homemade ice cream. So, so good!

I truly can’t say enough good things about this place. It has become one of our favorite parts of summer, and we look forward to coming back every season for all of our favorite treats. ❤“

“Stopped by for a quick eat n drink with my dog. We sat on the patio n ordered from the bar. Drinks were nice n strong n the rolls were very good. I did ask the hostesses for napkins because we never got it with our apps n they said goto bar. The place is empty n service could be better. Luckily the bartender came by n asked if we needed anything else. Hosts need to work n help. Place was clean n relaxing.“

“The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club: A Delightful Dining Experience Last evening, we had the pleasure of dining at The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club in Ocean City, Maryland. Our reservation was for 8:15 PM, and despite potential parking challenges, we found it surprisingly easy to find a spot. The restaurant’s recent remodel is evident as you walk up the stairs into the inviting dining area. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted at the hostess stand and seated immediately. We appreciated the choice between indoor and outdoor seating, and the variety of seating options available, from semi-circle couches to large arrangements for bigger parties. Our server was attentive from the start, quickly providing us with water, drinks, and menus. After a brief look at the menu, we received a thorough rundown of the evening’s specials. The noise level was perfect, allowing for a pleasant conversation, and the open-air setting provided a comfortable breeze. For appetizers, we chose the crab dip and crab deviled eggs. While both were enjoyable, the crab deviled eggs stood out as the better of the two. I also tried a drink called “Lost in the South,” a refreshing blend of lemon and bourbon that became my favorite part of the evening. For the main course, I opted for the boardwalk fries with a crabcake, a dish labeled as an Eastern Shore Maryland specialty. It was served with tartar sauce and met my expectations with its classic flavors. To finish off the meal, we each selected different desserts. The restaurant’s take on the Maryland Smith Island cake, a cookies and cream version, was a delightful surprise and possibly even better than the traditional version. I highly recommend trying it if it’s available. Overall, The Tide Room offers a wonderful dining experience with excellent service, a comfortable atmosphere, and delicious food. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Ocean City.“

“This was our second time having dinner here and our overall experience was great. The service, the ambiance, the drinks and wine- all excellent. There were four of us and we shared everything family style. Started with the gnoccho fritto, and the mixed green salad- very good. Then moved on to the eggplant rollatini and the lemon pasta- delish! Then we had the veal parm, which we had the first time we came, and remember it being outstanding. Unfortunately, it was not outstanding this time around. It was not bad, just average. Too thin, so certain pieces were very dry and hard to cut toward the edges. For $96 you expect it to be flawless. Everything else was great, so that said, we will be back but will probably not order the veal parm again.“

“We had a wedding last night and I want to shout the manager and the bartender that helped us. They were both SO sweet, they helped us set up and move tables. The manager even took my kiddo for a walk because I was so busy setting up. I can’t praise them enough for how they handled our crazy bunch. Drinks were 10/10 too as always!“

“I have been in Ocean View for several years now and Munchies Grill & Pizza is my "go to" place for lunch and dinner several times a week. The food is always fresh and delicious and ready to pick up on time. The establishment is tucked away in a convenient place with plenty of parking available. I have tried many items over the years and the Cheesesteak pizza and the Pene Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo are my favorites. The portions are always large enough to feed more than one and I usually save the rest for another day. Btw, don't forget to grab a desert such as the carrot cake. Soooo good..... And last but not least, I am always greeted with a smile and thank you by the people who run the place. Can't wait to go back again!!!“

“We visited the Crab Bag Gift Shop while at the beach last month and the customer service was excellent! They did not have what we needed in our size so the manager,Julie, offered to order and ship it to us. She was extremely helpful and pleasant. The store has a large variety of anything Maryland and of course anything to do with crabs, if you haven't done so already you should definitely check it out! We also ate at the restaurant, and the crabs were some of the best we've ever had.“
