“This place is a rare gem! I live in VA and visit family and friends in the coastal Delaware area often — despite not living in DE I had no issue finding Bella’s Cookies to pick up my order. For those of us who don’t have “ the world as our oyster”, so to speak, we do not mind taking the time to make an appointment to pick up special bakes that are as amazing as the cookies and cupcakes I picked up yesterday afternoon! I am not ashamed to say that most of these incredibly delicious treats did not survive our 2.5 hrs. drive back home — as I could not stop eating them while telling my spouse the entire drive home how amazing the cupcakes and cookies are…were! My spouse who has no special dietary restrictions, like myself, and is usually my “normal” blind taste tester also agreed and raved about how moist and delicious the cupcakes were, and the perfectly baked cookies (crisp on outside with a chewy-yumminess on the inside). I have finally found the one!! … not spouse, but bakery, Bella’s Cookies! “We had a wedding last night and I want to shout the manager and the bartender that helped us. They were both SO sweet, they helped us set up and move tables. The manager even took my kiddo for a walk because I was so busy setting up. I can’t praise them enough for how they handled our crazy bunch. Drinks were 10/10 too as always!“

While it is a little jarring walking in and not knowing what to do, you are greeted by friendly staff and able to seat yourself in any booth/table. The service was really the outstanding factor of this place. Super friendly, attentive, and even servers who didn’t serve you come by and check in. Additionally, they are honest and great at giving recommendations. Aside from their amazing service, the food was quite good for a small pizza place.
