“The food is amazing. I normally order for a business meeting or myself at times, and it is really good. The quality of the food is great, and there's a lot of food, which is a plus. We love it. I can not rate on the atmosphere or in-person service because we have not been in person, but overall, this is a 5-star experience for our business.“

“Just stopped and got the buffalo shrimp taco and it was EPIC!!! Dave and staff are really great and the atmosphere is spot on. If your near booths corner check them out, also does catering as well.“

“Five Stars | A True Neighborhood Gem
If you're looking for authentic, incredible tacos right in the neighborhood, this place is the real deal. Being just two blocks away makes it entirely too easy to drop by, but convenience aside, it legitimately serves the closest thing to real NYC-style tacos you will find anywhere nearby.
They recently expanded their menu, and the new volcan tacos with carne asada are an absolute must-try—perfectly crispy tortillas loaded with flavorful, charred beef. On top of that, their salsa bar is elite: incredible flavor, great heat, and you can grab as much as you need. To top it off, their orange lemonade is hands-down the best drink on the menu, and the prices can't be beat for this quality.

“I have never left a review before in my life. This is my first ever review. And I can say it is an honor to have this place be my first review. We didn’t even know the staff. Just started off as strangers and ended up as family. My dad went into the hospital for emergency open heart surgery and these kind people gave us flowers and a signed card by all the staff. They didn’t even know us but they did such a great gesture. Please go to this place. Iv never met such amazing people and I will definitely be back. Way above 5 stars. What amazing people and please join me and welcoming them to their new Wilmington location. My first ever review and I’m so proud that this place is it.“

“Stopped here for a quick lunch and am so glad I did. I got a pork taco as well as a flank steak taco and both were delicious. The tortillas are homemade, meat was freshly cooked, sauces flavorful and they did not skimp on the filling. 10/10 - will absolutely be back!“

“It's fantastic the food is delicious perfectly seasoned and it's inexpensive. They have the best taco's hands down in the tri state area period 🎯 So delicious and the staff is friendly and they love their job.The ingredients are freshly made and you can taste the authenticity .You can tell they like their job by how they remember you each time. “I work in town and LOVE this place!! So happy to have them as an option for lunch or pickup dinners to take home. The food is always fresh and delicious, the staff are SO nice, and the entire place has a cozy, well-decorated vibe. “I was excited to see what the next generation to occupy the old Stoney's British Pub on Concord Pike would be. Maiz does not disappoint! From the moment you walk in the door you can really see the difference. It is relaxed, current, and yet vibrant atmosphere. Very well done! I started with the street corn appetizer. This is a great choice if you are looking for a small plate to wake up your pallete with a delicious lime crema sauce, and cotilla cheese seared and still juicy in every bite. For the entree I ordered the Salmón a la Veracruzana. This dish is a perfectly prepared pan seared salmon filet with traditional Vera Cruz sauce. It is slightly spicy but pairs with the salmon perfectly. All Entrees are served with a small plate of rice and beans. The Salmon dish also comes with two slices of Garlic Toast. My server, Iran, was tremendous and I would recommend asking for her every time. Over all this was a very pleasant dining experience and I fully recommend anyone looking for good, authentic, Mexican food in the North Wilmington area add Maiz to your itinerary. You wont be disappointed!“

“We randomly stopped at the New Castle Farmers Market on a drive elsewhere and randomly happened upon Los Jarritos and thought it was some of the best authentic Mexican we’ve had on the east coast (don’t you love it when that happens?).
We split a burrito with pork and green sauce and a chicken tamal. The burrito was better than the tamal but we still thoroughly enjoyed both.
The pork in the burrito was exceptional - and the red and green hot sauces were an ideal complement.
Chips and salsa were also delicious - can’t tell if they were included or not but our total bill including a Mexican coke was less than $16.
Stopping at this flea market felt like a portal to another world for us out-of-towners, but we enjoyed the experience and would happily go back to Los Jarritos.“

“I came in after work around 630. Order some Asada tacos. They were phenomenal.
But I had an interest in dessert. Tres Leches specifically. I asked about them and were told they were in the fridge but they weren't. They actually had no desserts at all.
That was a bummer. Other than that, the person serving at the register was pleasant and the place was clean, quiet and smelled like food and a good time!
Definitely going back there!“
