“Hands down the most amazing delicious chicken I have ever had. Been coming here many many many years. It's a tradition to stop and eat chicken on way to beach or back home depending on availability. Trips have been planned around when we can be guaranteed food. The chicken is tender and juicy, but the sauce is even more amazing. The product has not changed from when I was a little kid. I have paid 3 or 4 times the price for chicken that was not even close in the quality. A must stop on the way to the beach!“

“My absolute favorite chicken spot! I see Greenwood Chicken as something of a hidden gem that most people from out of state wouldn’t know about. I’ve only been coming here for the last few years but plan on returning for years to come. It’s a basic menu but you already know what you’re getting when you show up. The platter is comprised of your choice of chicken half or quarters, then the rest is the same: handful of sliced pickles, roll, flavor choice of chips. There is a small drink selection and a vending machine. I absolutely love the “sauce” that is in water bottles on ice. I usually use an abundance of it for my chicken.Edit: Not to mention the proceeds go toward the local Greenwood fire company which also gives it a great cause!“

“This is a must if you have never had Kiwanis BBQ! We try to get it on the way to AND from the beach. The taste is amazing and it hasn't changed since I've been coming for the past 10+ years. Open nice and early around 8:30am on Fridays and Saturdays during the summer.“

“We went here for my husband’s birthday dinner. I have CKD so have to follow a low sodium diet, the server was great in not questioning my request for no seasoning in my steak and when my entree arrived it was perfect with no additional salt added, it was also cooked to perfection. The kitchen staff even realized not to put any butter in my sides even though I forgot to request that. I often hesitate eating out because of my illness I now know I can feel comfortable returning here.Dietary restrictions: The staff was willing to accommodate my dietary restrictions without hesitation and did not make me feel uncomfortable requesting them.“

“I have not been to Fat Daddy's BUT have had their food at Georgetown Speedway. The brisket was excellent. Large portion. I would always get a double portion of baked beans.I used to attend a church that put on a ham and bean supper. We made the beans from scratch. Hence I am an authority on beans. Sadly last year Fat Daddy's was not at Georgetown Speedway. The replacement was no where close at good as Far Daddy's. Figure next time I attend a race there (1 week from now) I will stop by Fat Daddy's.Jeff“
