“This is only the second time I've been to Home Grown Cafe and I have nothing but good things to say. I was celebrating one of my good friends birthday and this was his restaurant of choice. A good choice I may add. The restaurant was pretty slow at the time of our visit, but the staff were there to work. The food was hot and delicious and the place was clean. Keep up the good work!!“

“This is a hidden gem. Never heard anyone speak about it but we decided to spot here on tbe way to longwood gardens and I am glad we did. Smash burgers were good but thier wings were the perfect level of smake and cooked to perfection. They make a nutella milkshake the hits different! That was so good.

They have a food challenge called the enemy which is wild but Low key would buy it to split with a partner just to see the monstrosity.“

“Many thanks to the staff at Churchman's Rd Newark DE Applebee's. I spoke to Garrett to make arrangements for a birthday celebration there. He was so wonderful and pleasant to speak to and so accommodating. Our waitress Crystal H was wonderful too. She gave such great service, even helping us to decorate the tables. I didn't expect her to do that but that was so nice of her. The food was great and prices reasonable. The staff there all seemed so friendly. Again many thanks. “I've been requesting they bring in pasta for a long time. They finally did it!! I got Fettuccine Alfredo with a big dinner roll and a side salad for $14.99. 1st off, the weight of the pasta was HEAVY. I couldn't believe how much food I got for $14.99. You can't get this anywhere. I will have leftovers for tomorrow and maybe the next day, And being Italian, I'm always skeptical.. but guess what,this was outstanding. I am so beyond pleased. Mike also recommended some great places to see while we were in the region, since we were visiting for a double relative’s funeral. “Brother's Pizza & Restaurant is THE go-to Italian specialties restaurant of London Grove Township and beyond. The quality of their food is beyond phenomenal. The owner is a humble man, and could use the outside business, he even offered a soda on the house ! I'm blown away, at the quality and service in this small business.

“We love this IHOP! We live in New Castle, but we travel to this one all the time! Everyone is always pleasant when you walk in, they all speak, smile and even the manager was singing along to the music playing. She also made sure to let us know of the upcoming NEW menu items. We usually have Tim as our server and he is always on point! Very personable and he talks to everyone like they are in there every day! The food always comes out hot and looks just like what you order from the menu! I used the restroom and when I passed other servers/workers, they all speak and look like they actually want to be there, which is a nice feeling. The manager was checking the restrooms and she spoke and was very pleasant, which was very clean! You have a great crew here at this location, that is what keeps us coming back! “We came to this 🍎 🐝 s for our dear friend Tommy(Pronounced Tom-E) 40th birthday. We started the night with a shark tank. The first sip transported us to the deep blue ocean. The chilling rush of swimming with sharks. We followed up with the sampler. The crisp of the thin chips echoed through the old smoking section. The spice of the buffalo cleared my nasal cavities in such a way I can smell the sands of the ocean. My entree sizzled as it crossed the restaurant. Heads turning as they all focused on the extravagant meal crossed their paths. Would highly recommend“

“I love the Applebees OMG oozy cheese meals branding going on right now. I came for the OMG cheeseburger melt but I saw they bought the OMG cheeseburger back so I got that instead (it’s what I wanted initially). I love this soaked in cheese food. lol. Our waitress was excellent. I wish I remembered her name. She was great. When my mom accidentally knocked over her shot of alcohol- the waitress replaced it. When my OMG cheese didn’t come out sizzling, she took it back and got it right. I really appreciated that. The OMG cheese is also really good because you can mix it in with the fries! Shout out to Japan - cause I think that is where this omg oozy cheese burger originates!“

“The staff at this Wendy's were being unfairly harrassed by an an unstable white male as I went through the drive thru tonight. He banged on the doors and yelled through them at the employees, then I saw him walk away back to his car and pick up a rock on the way. He then drove up behind me in thr drive thru and yelled at them through the speaker, pulled out of the drive thru and parked behind the restaurant just waiting. When I pulled to the window, I told the staff what I saw. The shift manager said that he was there all the time and always treated them like this. She said they have reported him in the past but the local police say they can't do anything. The staff at this restaurant were friendly, prompt, and delivered exactly what I ordered. They remained calm and collected while there was an active threat even knowing no one else was coming to help them. I am amazed at how much these folk had to handle while the majority of the staff looked to still be teenagers. No one should have to work in these conditions. If Wendy's is smart, they (or the franchise owner) will look into this situation and give a raise to everyone there.“

“The service at this location is always great. They are very friendly and courteous. This last time I went though the amount of fries received was definitely lacking. Usually the put a scoop into the bag which didn't happen and the cup wasn't full. For the amount I paid for fries expected and have received more. I thought maybe the policy had changed but when I went to lunch at the location near Univ of Delaware, they did it like they always do. Maybe they were running out of fries that day. This is still my go to Five Guys primarily because of the staff.“

“the food here is pretty decent if they get your order correct but my biggest complaint is the young rude judgemental girl that works there that is always looking down her nose at everybody that comes in. I doordash so I am in there frequently and she has a very ugly personality to the point I hate going there. it doesn't matter if I am in there as a customer or for work she is a snob and I wouldn't give them a penny of my money ever again. on another note the young guy with the beard that works in there is always very respectful and nice.“
