“Decent down home diner. I come here for breakfast with family every time we come to visit.

Edit: I live in the area now, and we've been coming regularly. Magnolia restaurant was even my wife's choice for her Birthday dinner! Its a sleeper for sure, a quick stop off of rt 1, or just south of Dover if you're looking for something different!“

“We have ordered birthday dinner for family nights the last several months on multiple occasions. Everything has been made to order, ready when promised and delicious! We will continue to order here for all family birthday dinners, as they have quite a variety, and everybody find some thing on the menu that they love! Plus, they haven’t let us down yet!“

They have old school customer service that presents a personal and family atmosphere. Also, they provide quality ingredients that do not have high-fructose corn syrup and make their butter from scratch. Milford Diner is a part of our self-care.“

“We like local places. The Countrie Eatery is a cut above places like Bob Evan’s and IHOP but it’s not epic. Our breakfast was generally well made. The eggs were cooked properly and the home fries were excellent. Unfortunately, my wife chose the blueberry muffin as a bread and it was rock hard on the bottom. On the positive side, there are options coffee and service were excellent. We saw a blueberry waffle on our way out that I would order next. It’s a good breakfast in a nice location.“

The red curry had a pleasant, balanced spice level and was enjoyable. The fresh garden rolls were very fresh, almost like a light salad wrapped in rice paper. The Thai basil fried rice was decent, though not as memorable compared to similar dishes I’ve had at other Thai restaurants.

“Now that I've spent a year in Dover, I now understand why this institution keeps bringing in good business.
The bartenders are some of the nicest people I've had the good fortune of meeting.
Their food selections are wonderful - their football Sunday specials were everything I wanted in a Sunday Sunday.
I havnt been there when its been insanely busy, but the servers, bartenders and kitchen work well together to ensure everything comes to you in a timely manner.

“Used to go to Hall's regularly until they lost it. Recently tried Mike and Mels and were pleasantly surprised. Split pea soup is the real deal, chunks of ham and delicious flavor. So is the chicken noodle soup. Chunks of chicken, a hearty broth and great flavor. Liver and onions is done just right and tender. Have tried several burgers and they do a nice job on them. Good breakfast, but I am not a fan of their home fries. Reasonable prices and good service.“

Both deliveries were missing 1 item from order. 😒 First order (Friday) included complimentary peice of cake 😁 & utensils/ condiments. “very disappointed.. went there with a friend on Thursday, 4 tables were occupied by customers. We were seated and placed our order. Sashimi 15pcs, took 45 minutes to get my order. The tuna and salmon were on the warm side, scary! The waitress never came by to refill or update on our order. I finally got her attention and asked for a refill of my cranberry juice,she informed me that there is no refill on cranberry. I kinda thought since I have sat there fir over 45 minutes, one would think a free refill would be nice. Anyway, I didn't finish my meal.. They focus on pick up orders,more than actual customers that are seated. I don't recommend this place to anyone. They are slow, rude and I think the fish is way to warm. someone will get very sick sooner or later.“

“I had dinner friday for my birthday. The food here is amazing. My opinion best restaurant in dover. My waiter Kenny was great very nice and attentive to our table. This my 2nd time eating here both times were great. Everything on menu was really good. This is a place you have to try. Moved here a year ago from New York this is the only restaurant here i really enjoyed. I will be coming back to eat here again and recommending it to family and friends.“

“The crab cakes were VERY BAD. Aside from that; everything was delicious. Chris was our server and she gave awesome recommendations and switched out the crab cakes as soon as we voiced concern. We had the southwest chicken Mac & cheese, a warm pretzel and the buffalo cauliflower,(that last one per Chris’s recommendation), which were incredible. Also had the spicy margarita and the spiked Arnold Palmer. We sat on the back patio which overlooks a pond. It’s nice and tranquil. The inside seemed pretty festive and lots of people were seated at the bar“

“I have never been a big fan of Applebees but it's definitely an okay spot for casual dining. I think it's the atmosphere that is not appealing to me but picking the right time to go is key.

I wanted to try their new Bayou Cajun Shrimp bowl and I was pleasantly surprised! They hit the mark with this dish. The only small complaint I have is with the andouille sausages. The pieces were so small, I almost forgot it was included with the dish but what made up for it was the nice helping of shrimp. They do not skimp on this. The string beans were nice and tender and the rice was very good. The side of dipping sauce really complimented the shrimp. I was told this was a limited entree so it will not be permanently on the menu however I hope they get enough positive feedback, that it will return again this year. Great dish! 👍🏾👍🏾“

“I went to this Applebees expecting some good eats and left kinda disappointed. My food was not up to par with the likes of the harbor and it may need some work. Although the service was really good. There was this young lad Cyrus and he was very nice and friendly. It was an ok experience all in all👌🏿“
