“This place is a rare gem! I live in VA and visit family and friends in the coastal Delaware area often — despite not living in DE I had no issue finding Bella’s Cookies to pick up my order. For those of us who don’t have “ the world as our oyster”, so to speak, we do not mind taking the time to make an appointment to pick up special bakes that are as amazing as the cookies and cupcakes I picked up yesterday afternoon! I am not ashamed to say that most of these incredibly delicious treats did not survive our 2.5 hrs. drive back home — as I could not stop eating them while telling my spouse the entire drive home how amazing the cupcakes and cookies are…were! My spouse who has no special dietary restrictions, like myself, and is usually my “normal” blind taste tester also agreed and raved about how moist and delicious the cupcakes were, and the perfectly baked cookies (crisp on outside with a chewy-yumminess on the inside). I have finally found the one!! … not spouse, but bakery, Bella’s Cookies! Thank you so much Kelly Leishear for all your hard work, dedication, and passion while infusing your culinary artistic talents and perfecting the science of baking! I mean, WOW! Had I known the bakes were this delicious, I would have ordered more! Expect to hear back from me very soon, if not today, to schedule another appointment to pick up more of your delicious baked treats!“

“First timers... not disappointed... great service, food was delicious. Hubby had the Reuben sandwich and liked it. I had the crispy chicken Caesar salad...one of the best I have had! We will be going back🙂“

“This bakery makes the most amazing Cheese Danish I have ever had, it's made with croissant dough rather than the starchy mushy stuff. Their chocolate mousse is probably one of the best I have ever eaten. When you walk inside, the smell is just incredible. It is the first place I go to when I visit my uncle in that area. 10/10 Highly recommend“

“I live locally and was trying to find an alternate place to find a yummy acai bowl since Village Cafe moved to Dover and had one of the best in my opinion. If you order an acai bowl from here, don't plan on eating it there as it will take at least a half hour plus to thaw. The bottom part (acai) was completely frozen and my plastic spoon bent when I tried to get through it. Girl at the counter seemed very impatient and was lacking in the personality department.“
