“Newtown is a historic, colonial town, and is very quaint and charming. Within, the Mercury Cafe is a gym with delicious comfort food and great coffee. While it’s vegetarian, many of the dishes can be prepared vegan. The BBQ pulled oats sandwich, pastrami panini, grilled cheese and tomato soup were all so good and comforting. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!“

When I brought it up to the bartender, she said I misread the situation and it was none of my business! So, I went to the manager and she repeated pretty much the same statement like it was scripted because it continuously happens! I wonder if the owners are aware of these actions because honestly the bartender and manager should be fired for those kind of attitudes as it's illegal to serve visibly impaired patrons at a bar! Sad! 🤔😔 I actually have to add, it's a shame that the staff isn't the best, because the concept is great, the events are fun and our group which usually numbers 10 to 15 people enjoy hanging out there for the events and the food which is reasonable and pretty good! 💝😎👍“

“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. “Been coming to this place ever since they’ve opened up. They have the best banh mi I’ve had since I moved closer to Delaware. If you love some good cracking pork in your banh mi. “Celebrating a Fathers Day reunion, we 5 chose here because we share a love for good, creative Mexican fare... esp. table-made guacamole. Our guac and meals were delicious, as usual here. Our server, Sadie, was cheery and helpful in taking and serving our orders... but... Disappointingly, our table became ignored after we ordered sopapilla dessert. In fact, our dessert was served while our table was still cluttered with our meal dishes and silver, and without fresh dessert plates, spoons, etc. NOT GOOD! Our son then sought a waiter and commandeered plates and tools and we shared the dessert over a debris-strewn table ;-( I cornered the on-duty assistant manager (otherwise unseen for the evening) and shared my frustration with the evident inattention to service detail... he said, "I'll pass that on..." Try harder, folks!“

next to a door that was constantly being opened to the outside world and it blasted cold air at me.

They also tried to charge me $29.99 for this “lobster” roll (and I use that term loosely). You can’t in good conscience tell me that this coleslaw concoction is more than 5% lobster. It’s potato chips and coleslaw on a tiny hot dog bread.

The burgers are solid.“

“We only get a chance to come here on the weekends there is normally a wait but it's never more than 20 min. The staff is always super friendly and nice, and very knowledgeable about the menu. It is a VAST menu so it might take a while to decide what you want but we have tried a bunch of things and nothing has been short of wonderful. Price is on par for what you get rolls are a good size at an average price with quality ingredients. Highly recommend the soup dumplings! We always try to get something new but keep getting those dumplings!

Parking: It's near the food court in the mall so parking can be challenging but it is free

Kid-friendliness: We have taken out 2 year old every time we have been here we just get her a side of rice and some popcorn chicken, staff is very accommodating to kids and they have kids cup and high chairs

Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor location and is technically on the outside of the mall so easy access from the street“

“So I give it 5 stars for the people because the people who work there are really nice, always get my food on time delivered and I know they cant really can control how the food tastes that’s more of a corporate thing

As for my review on the food I personally like the ceaser salad but I would get it with spring greens instead of the lettuce because the lettuce is always way too unripe( which isn’t their fault its corporate)

The seasonal butternut squash soup is way to sweet, it tastes more like a dessert rather then a soup, like if it was in cookie form it would be a perfectly good cookie, but I don’t want my soups to taste like a cookie

I like the cheddar broccoli soup, just always have to get the small one since it’s pretty heavy.

Bread is always good, I like the bread, nice and fun to dip in the soup.

Baked potato soup is eh, I mean it really dosnt have a lot going for it I would just rather eat a baked potato.

I don’t know why they got rid of the south west ceaser salad but that was really good, probably it was seasonal but I personally prefer it. Solid salad

Drinks are pretty good, very solid. Personally like to sip on through my day.

Overall it’s solid I havnt gotten anything rotten or spoiled it’s just if you like Panera the staff is friendly so it’s a good Panera to stop at“

“I’ve been going here for about two years now and this is my of my favorite restaurants in the area. The Baja Shrimp tacos have this amazing sauce that makes the meal so so good. And the burros have such a good sauce too. I also love their fries, they’re so unique with them being so thin. The service here is also great. You get sat quickly, your server comes over fast, and your food comes out fast. The other night I had this server Dana who was so sweet and we had a nice conversation. It was great because I was dining alone so I was happy to have someone to talk to. And she recommended the pastelitos and they were delicious. Highly recommend!!!“

We love the wonton soup and fried rice as well, and everything we've tried from the non-sushi menu has always been a cut above. Everything tastes prepared fresh that day; the vegetables are crisp; it's never overloaded with salty, gooey sauce. So many places just cover up mushy vegetables and old rice with sugar-heavy sauce because it's what we Americans expect, but this restaurant seems to actually care about putting out quality. “Stopped in for the first time… had time to kill before heading to Yarn & Bone in the same shopping center. IT WAS AMAZING. The coffee was fresh and delicious (coming from someone that drinks it black… iykyk). I got the Eggs Benedict on the Cheddar Biscuit and I would drive up from Dover just to eat that again 😂😍.
