“We went to the Courtyard Restaurant attracted by its widely advertised fame that its crab cakes were the best in Delaware. And we were not disappointed - they really are superb. Practically no fillings and all lump crab meat. My wife and I shared an antipasto of some kind of focaccia topped with pesto and prosciutto and we then ordered the crab cake platters. They came with a very tasty side dish of mashed potatoes and string beans, these last perhaps a bit too raw. And, of course, we had a glass of Chardonnay to wash everything down. The total bill came to $ 81.00. The restaurant itself is not very attractive - it's in the lobby of the hotel; and the service, by a very courteous and pleasant young lady - Jenna - was excellent but slow. It wasn't her fault, though. She seemed to be the only one working in the restaurant. Other than that, we had no complaints and plan to return.“

“When on the road traveling, it so refreshing to receive warm hospitality. That’s exactly what we experienced here. The food was great but the care and service Daysi provided was above and beyond. Next visit to Delaware will include a stop here.“
