Pretty good food, ordered the noodles and dumplings with chicken combo based on recommendations from my colleagues. The portions are a bit small for the price.

The Wandering Chef Catering Cart terrible experience. Dumplings were cold and chicken was old. Owner was rude and snatched my CC out of his employee's hand and demanded to see my ID because my CC was bent...from being in my wallet every day as I work....0/10 won't go back and told others to not go and heard from others how disappointing the dumplings were

Got the lamb gyro. It was not tasty enough to justify being shortchanged a dollar. Go to Indian Sizzler for a gyro that's better and comes with a soda can, for the same price.

Chef Ty was amazing! He showed up on time and prepared a phenomenal 4 course meal. The food was delicious and he was very accommodating to our needs. I would highly recommend him!

Amazing. Stopped by A winery yesterday and Mike and Lauren had their awesome food truck set up there. Not only was the food incredible, Mike and Lauren were also super personable and really fun. Highly recommend getting something to eat if you come across them. The gyro, Cuban and dumplings were elite.

I know Mike and Lauren. Mike is a great chef and the food is uniformly well made and tastes great. Lauren is a dear and is always professional and cheerful. I'd recommend their carts or their catering services to anyone. Good food, fairly priced.

We have been to the Wandering Chef cart a few times over the past month. We caught them one day at Autumn Arch in Newark, DE & were able to purchase prepared cooked dumplings, which we thoroughly enjoyed! We most recently met up with the Wandering Chef at the Broken Spike Winery on 12/31/2020 in Earleville, MD. Here they were selling dumpling kits for New Years. We purchased one & prepared it the next day for New Years Day dinner. The dumplings come already prepared, but not fried. You just have to pan fry, cook in a roaster oven or an air fryer until they are golden brown. We chose to pan fry them. Once they are done frying, you just top with the sauces that are provided in little to-go containers. It is just like getting them off the cart! Chef even told us that you can freeze them (before frying) on a cookie sheet & transfer to a Ziploc freezer bag for future use (when you are ready for frying). Overall, we have had good experiences with the Wandering Chef. We really enjoy their dumplings. Service has been friendly. I would highly recommend. Tip: Follow them on Facebook to track their wanderings.
