We admittedly are Pennsylvania pizza snobs and weren’t disappointed with our selection of mushroom and pepperoni. “For 2nd year in a row this was our go-to shop. Our group had to get 8 large subs made ASAP for an off shore fishing trip the next AM out of OCMD. All special requirements and of course required oils & such separated for travel. The nice patient lady who took the phone order even numbered them in numerical order (with marker) so everyone got what they wanted. Even a few cannolis to go. Great service & excellent food.“

“We were referred here by a bartender at a different place back in early 2023. He told us it was the best pizza in OCMD, and we were not disappointed. Very friendly bartender. We continue to patronize this establishment not only for the food but also for the staff. They are some of the best staff in OCMD.

“Not the greatest pizza around but Grotto’s are more than pizza.
It’s about family and making memories on hungry impulses.
The staff aren’t super talkative during the day hours so you get to spend more time chopping it up with your uncles and cousins over some decent pizza 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🍕
Definitely a fun sit-down spot… but would NOT recommend just grabbing take-out from here!“

“When going to Rehoboth beach, you need to go to Grotto's pizza. Sam was our waitress, and she was excellent and attentive to our needs that we went back a second night and asked for her again. She was super sweet and willing to help whatever the request!!
The pizza was awesome, the caprese salad was amazing with that balsamic glaze, and the loaded fries with gooey cheese and bacon came to the table still smoking hot!! A must see when on the beach!!“

“I always stop by Grotto's when I'm in Delaware or Ocean City Maryland. Have been going to Grotto's since the mid 90's when my friend was at U of D. Pizza always brings back great memories and the staff at this location is always friendly with great service and food. I will continue to go there when I'm in Ocean City Maryland or Delaware.“

“4.7 rating? No way 5.0 all day, I feel it’s the best Subs around anywhere. I’ve had a lot of great subs, but DeVitos wins all day! The bread is the best, I feel it’s what makes it so good and the ingredients is all top notch and they don’t load it up, just the perfect amount. If you are ever so lucky to have a DeVito’s sub, then you will understand!“

“I tried to call the restaurant and place an order but was disconnected and decided to order online. Nothing special just a couple salads and some wings. Food was ready when we arrived and food was good. Employees were not great. Asked for my name and then asked if I had paid? I told them I ordered online. They continued to ask questions about my order such as did I call, how did I place my order? I already gave them the information!!! I told them if they would answer the phone I would have ordered by phone but that wasn’t possible so I ordered Online! They were not easy to deal with and need some customer service training.“
