“love their food... just had the pizza for the first time I got the white pizza with broccoli it wasn't bad but I think in my opinion it needs more garlic like a garlic oil or something and definitely needs to be cooked long I did put mine in the oven a little longer and it was perfect... “Not the worst Papa John's, but in the past 10 years customer service has lacked. My guess is because there's hardly any competition. Disappointing though based on the countless awful scenarios I've been in with management here. I keep going back every few years because the dough is just great. But customer service is still awful. Maybe one day they'll get a decent manager. Maybe if they paid better. Who knows.“

“This is my favorite pizza (and one of my top 5 restaurants overall) in Bethany. The food is consistently SO good and service is always lovely. That's enough to keep me coming back to a restaurant, but the added bonus is that it's surprisingly kid-friendly.

Kid-friendliness: I've been there with as few as my own three littles and as many as five, and I always feel very comfortable. The tables are spaced nicely apart so you don't feel like you're encroaching on other diners' experiences and the noise level allows you to have conversation around your own table with ease. These are the things I think about with overstimulated kids on vacation!“

“We were referred here by a bartender at a different place back in early 2023. He told us it was the best pizza in OCMD, and we were not disappointed. Very friendly bartender. We continue to patronize this establishment not only for the food but also for the staff. They are some of the best staff in OCMD.

“Not the greatest pizza around but Grotto’s are more than pizza.
It’s about family and making memories on hungry impulses.
The staff aren’t super talkative during the day hours so you get to spend more time chopping it up with your uncles and cousins over some decent pizza 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🍕
Definitely a fun sit-down spot… but would NOT recommend just grabbing take-out from here!“

“Their small scale pizzeria is a win win for sure. Their aromatic pizza is nothing like the regular papa johns, I usually been having from so many years. For me this pizzeria is a 5 star winner because of it's service, cost, and authenticity of the recipe. I recommend Bello Gino for pizza lovers.

“When going to Rehoboth beach, you need to go to Grotto's pizza. Sam was our waitress, and she was excellent and attentive to our needs that we went back a second night and asked for her again. She was super sweet and willing to help whatever the request!!
The pizza was awesome, the caprese salad was amazing with that balsamic glaze, and the loaded fries with gooey cheese and bacon came to the table still smoking hot!! A must see when on the beach!!“

Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating with 2 people in our party of 5 who have multiple dietary resources and staff was very helpful and made sure their meals had no cross contamination. Many restrictions 2 main ones for both are cheese and beef and pork. 5 night vacation and 2 nights we had dinner here for not only the very good food but the waitress who went above and beyond with our special requests! The bread is the best, I feel it’s what makes it so good and the ingredients is all top notch and they don’t load it up, just the perfect amount. If you are ever so lucky to have a DeVito’s sub, then you will understand!“

“The service was very hospitable. The server was patient and allowed us time to go through the menu.
Selected a cheese pizza with pineapple, crispy bacon and red onions. Also ordered a cheese steak. Meals were served hot and the pizza was cut up in neat little squares. Thin crust was a plus ? The bacon was nice and crunchy. The pizza was not salty. Overall it tasted good.
The cheesesteak was enjoyable. A bit small, but enjoyable.
The atmosphere of the place was cosy, comfortable seating, clean.
