“My first time at Gus's Crab Shack was back in December of 2021 when a band that i represent was hired by Gus to entertain his guests. Since that time, we have been a regular part of his entertainment lineup. What started as a spot at the back wall turned into a stage being built for all bands to play on and then with a new huge stage outside under a tent and then again, he added yet another stage outside under another tent. He started with just two bands a weekend and now has up to 5 bands a weekend. he has pulled out all stops in providing the best entertainment that he can for his patrons. As far as the food and service are concerned, we have no complaints. We always get what we ordered in a timely manner. The food is served hot, and beverages are ice cold. If we had any problem with an order, the staff makes it right very quickly. Gus, the owner makes it a habit to go around to meet his guest to see how they are doing and if everything is all right. We highly recommend Gus's Crab Shack. The staff is very courteous and friendly.”

“Sabatina's knocked it out of the park for my husband's birthday. we ordered a couple of sandwich trays and chicken tenders and everything was fresh and outstanding! the ladies in the shop even helped my daughter and I carry our food down the street since it was DE City Day and Clinton Street was blocked off. We can't wait to order again!”

“We recently had dinner here. The food was excellent but the service was slow and we missed our usual server Murphy who was off. Murphy is awesome and her customer service is impeccable. The owner was gracious enough to reach out to me personally to explain that the oven was not working properly that evening. That was the reason for the long wait time for food. Everyone here generally cares about the customer and goes to great lengths to make sure you’re taken care of. Despite the oven setback the food was still good and the drinks as well.”

“From the moment we stepped inside the cute shop, we were welcomed by friendly staff who emailed me their huge list of offerings! I ended up getting a banana nut cake with peanut butter filling and whipped cream cheese icing and the cake is DELICIOUS! When I went to pick up, staff was warm and friendly and welcoming and made me feel like family. We will be coming back for sure!”

“Stopped in for a treat after hanging up our scarecrow for the fall festival downtown. Best ice cream I've had in forever. My wife had the iced coffee and my child got a milkshake. Everything was phenomenal. Tried to take some chocolate cake home for dessert later but ended up eating half before I even left. So happy to have them here in Seaford and hope to be a loyal customer for many years.”

“When my company arrived from Kansas and Indiana in April, I took them to Crabby Dick's in Delaware City and they absolutely loved it! They especially enjoyed the crab cakes and Maryland Crab soup. I got my usual favorite, steamed clams! Our server's name was either Mattie or Maddie. Not sure of the spelling, but she was outstanding. We were there on April 22nd.”

“Delicious food with great staff interactions. They are always patient and willing to explain or adapt the flavors. Group of four met for lunch and all had the new lunch sampler which gives you a chance to try several different options from the menu. And even though it says sampler, the food is more than plentiful. Price was very reasonable and our bill was higher only because we celebrate gathering with fancy drinks. We will always go back!”

I cant believe how fresh and absolutely FANTASTIC this food is. Nothing so far in Delaware compares in price to plate ratio to food and drink quality.
