“Mother’s is a staple bar in Gainesville. The food is homemade and always affordable. The staff are accommodating, friendly, and personable. It is always a fun and safe atmosphere. There is always entertainment of some sort. Management tolerates zero shenanigans and yet will still go out of their way to make you happy.“
“I lived in Gainesville for 6 yrs and this was my first time coming here. I'm not a drinker or anything, so I avoid bars, but this was more like 'pool tables with drinks' than 'a bar with pool tables.' This place is clean, reasonably quiet, and very spacious. I wish I would've come here years ago.“

“If you go in the afternoon and Marcelo serves you, you will have excellent service, he remembers your order, you don't have to call him to ask for things, the cooks do an excellent job too, the food comes out quickly and exactly as you order, I recommend it 100%“

“Had the street tacos and tots, tots were super good, and I can tell the fryers were cleaned. Street tacos were pretty good and filling with just 3 small ones.
Vegetarian options: Wouldn't go here for vegan option, they do have salads, but that is it.
Parking: It's mall parking lot, so huge area.
Kid-friendliness: It's considered a sports bar, up to you if you bring your kiddo in.
Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious area and some low tables are available.“

“The food was excellent. The drinks were awesome. ABOVE ALL the SERVICE was the best! Our bartenders were great mixologists, able to have great conversation with us while doing their job and not missing a beat. Melvin the manager goes above and beyond for the guests. All around great experience. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.“
