“We went here after we had both our kids at shands. They were in the nicu 2 different years and we always went there! We moved to Illinois so anytime we come to Florida we make sure to stop at country foodly!“

“Stopped here on recommendation from someone local. We were greeted immediately by GABRIEL. He was patient with us since we were first timers. I am not a Cuban food expert so I asked a few questions he answered politely without making me feel dumb.

We ordered the papa rellena (potato ball stuffed with ground beef) and a ropa veja empanada. (Crispy pastry stuffed with seasoned shredded beef) as appetizers. Both were delicious delicious.

For mains he got the Ybor Cuban sandwich which was Ham, Roasted Pork, Salami, Swiss Cheese, Mustard, Pickles, Ybor Cuban Bread. He got it minus the mustard. I of course had to sample it as well and it was very nice soft bread, juicy meat and the flavor all together was amazing!

I ordered the Lechon bowl. It came with Lechon (roasted pork), yellow rice black beans and sweet plantains with an egg on top (for $1 extra). Gabriel also asked if we wanted sauces, he named them off I asked to sample them all. One was the mojo sauce I know it was a citrus and very garlic forward sauce. I would have liked less garlic and more citrus. One was an almost sour cream(possibly) cilantro green sauce and one was a pink sauce don’t know what was in it but it was good!

When we come up from Jacksonville again we will definitely visit again! Possibly try other things as well!

“My family loves this pizzeria. Why? Because while we wait, my little plays with the plastic veggies and kitchen materials- very entertaining for her. Then, once we sit down, my little can color on their cute coloring pages with their own basket of crayons or play with pizza dough. Besides the built in kid entertainment, staff is super kind and helpful and they take care of my food allergy (dairy & soy). Their willingness to ensure I'm enjoying my meal while being food safe is so heart warming to me. Drinks are phenomenal! The mocktails do not disappoint! They get packed on weekends but the wait hasn't been ridiculous.

Vegetarian options: You can absolutely find hearty veggie dishes here. Vegan- I'm not sure.

Dietary restrictions: Although I couldn't find an allergen menu, different servers, on different nights, have read labels for me, asked chefs and recommended alternatives for my dairy/soy allergy.

Kid-friendliness: Absolutely! They give kids pizza dough to play with at the table. There's a kids' kitchen (tiny segment) area for them to play with toys. They have coloring sheets and a basket of crayons. Decor and music is family friendly.“

“My husband and i have been eating five star pizza since we started dating almost 10 years ago and it’s hands down one of the best pizza places we have found. Although if you really want a good experience and the best they have to offer you have to go to the five star pizzas on tower road in Gainesville FL. None of the other locations have ever been able to meet the expectations that the tower road store set for us. Plus they just started a loyalty program with text offers and loyalty points which is something we always wished they had but honestly it didn’t factor in on my choice the pepperoni rolls and large pepperoni pizza well done with Garlic or cinnamon rolls and 2 liter of Dr.pepper are my go to every time and they have never let me down on tower road, we make a point to look for five star pizza where ever we go so we have tried them all through out florida, at least north central fl, haven't found them anywhere else.

“Small restaurant and Asian store in a strip mall in Gainesville, FL for Authentic Filipino cuisine for take out. They cook only 2 days a week, on Friday and Saturday, and come at store opening at 10a to get fresh. They have a specific menu every week. The week I had gone, I ordered pancit bihon, small, and bistek and white rice. The food was excellent!!!!“

We ordered calamari for appetizer, classic burgers both well done with fries on the side and the other was salad and chicken tenders and fries for kids meal.
Everything tasted fresh especially the salad and the burger was tasting fresh and juicy i just felt it was seasoned very well it doesnt need any condiments at all . Definitely will be back and somewhere i will take guests to.
Fyi: I also love that they make sure they clean regularly as when we left the staff were moving frames and wiping corners of wall edges especially by the customers table area. Great to see that when you actually go to a diner

As far as set up and clean up went, Bobby and his team were very efficient. It was such a relief not having to worry about things like setting up decor. “As you can see from the photos that the interior of the restaurant is very similar to many restaurants with dividers and glossy tables etc. etc. nothing incredibly ostentatious. I would like for Newberry Florida to have a place like Clearwater Florida did with chopsticks restaurant. They had big beautiful Chinese silk murals with gold threads in them and Buddha statues that look like they were made out of golden awesome resin tables with different kinds of Chinese design work underneath the coating just gorgeous but in the end the food there is not a whole lot different than what you can get here at the red wok. My biggest problem is I can’t get all of my Chinese favorites there all the time and you really have to go at the start of that meal whether it’s lunch or dinner otherwise it gets dried out and raunchy. So it is your responsibility to go early for dinner at five and early for lunch by noon just eat your favorites and stay away from things that you don’t know. Know that you won’t get all of your favorites there but that you’ll get enough“
