“Wow. I had to make a midnight run up to the CVS in Apopka, battling a cold, & saw that the 24 hour Denny's was open. Went in, was super impressed with the atmosphere. Ordered a veggie omelet, substituted hash browns for the toast. Could not believe how huge the portions were when the waiter brought it to my table. Not to mention Zen, who was there, was very very considerate & attentive & probably recognized that I was not feeling well. He even brought me extra napkins. I would definitely recommend this Denny's if you are up late & need a good meal!“
“Great food. My son loves either the pancakes(with chocolate chips of course!) and the tenders. The tenders are fresh and a decent size(much better than any other restaurant we have been to). My husband and I love getting the club or Philly! The apple cinnamon pancakes are seasonal but an absolute treat, when it’s not in season I stick with the cinnamon pancakes. Our meal never just ends at metro, we always take home a slice of chocolate cake to share. If you’re a chocolate lover it’s absolutely amazing!“
“In the Hood, but such a good place to eat. Nicks is by far the absolute best place for breakfast. The staff and cooks are freaking awesome! Very good atmosphere. This place totally out does any of the chain restaurants by far. Thanks Nick!! ** Would give 5 stars, but Nick's charges an arm and a leg. Very high prices.“
“I was pleasantly surprised by the transformation of this restaurant. Was there in 2019ish and was not good. This place has changed in a good way. Lots of breakfast options (they serve lunch too). Prices are not insane and quality and service were good. Food was prepared as requested. This is a kid friendly restaurant. Give it a try. I think you will be happy with the choice.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and friendly and patient staff. ?“
“this morning I had one of the days special. Blueberry waffle, eggs with cheese, bacon and side of grits. my cousin ordered menu item "early burger" this thing was a thick patty with a prefect fried egg lettuce tomato and fries!!! food is always a knock out the “
“Food was pretty much on par with what to expect from a little mom and pop style breakfast spot; nothing bad, not out of this world, just plain breakfast, same as it would be if I made it myself, can't complain, it got the job done.Wait time was zero on a Sunday around noon when every other breakfast spot has lines and 30-60 min wait times, and food was out in 5-10 mins after ordering, pretty sure nobody can say that about any other breakfast place in Orlando. After we got drinks and food that was pretty much it, indeed the waitress never came back once and even after I finished eating I had to wave her down to get the check, not sure what the deal was with that but eh, she seemed young, maybe new? Not going to judge a place based on something that small.Overall a plain but good spot, if you're hungry and need food in a pinch you can probably get served here much faster than other places nearby, and nothing about the food was bad, no weird flavors or burntness like what you'd get from Denny's etcBathrooms are a bit dim, may want to invest in brighter LED bulbs; they do have 100-150 watt equivalents out there, check Amazon they're only like 20 bucks.“
“Food was off the chain. Drinks never got below the halfway mark. Everyone was on point and polite. The bathroom was spotless. They clearly have pride in what they do. This has been the case every time I have been to this location without fail.“
“Had the veggie burger w/ Swiss. Comes with soup of the day (broccoli & cheese) & a side (had potato salad). The soup was so delicious. Potato salad was freshly made with crunchy red onion & green bell peppers. Veggie burger was decent, and the toppings were fresh. Service was very attentive. All in, I paid $15+tip. A little too pricy for me, but still way better than fast food, which costs more these days.“
