“Sue and I have not been to this place since they converted to sit-down and order. Finally joining the real restaurant world. We have eaten here about 20 times in the last few years and have always enjoyed the food, but felt strange with the get-your-own-drink aspect of it. Anyways, we are seated at our favorite booth, Perry Como, Elvis, Dean Martin, and Sinatra (the usual suspects) crooning at a comfortable level, with decent speakers. Oscar greeted us and took our drinks order, leaving a couple of rather impressive menus with us. We spent some time looking at the menu, as the format has changed somewhat. I ordered the shrimp marsala on linguine, Sue ordered the same on some other pasta noodle (You choose). After a reasonable interval, our food arrived. 2 huge bowls of deliciousness thick enough that it could have been called a stew. Lrt me tell you, I've been to restaurants that the orders contained little meat, little mushrooms, and a LOT of broth. Not here! These bowls were crammed with a ton of food. Shrimp, portobella mushrooms and pasta that was not overcooked. I gotta tell you, Sue and I dine out a LOT...various venues all over WG/Ocoee/Windermere/Clermont. This was probably the finest meal I ever had. The improvements the restaurant made are A+ Definitely worth dropping a hundy on.“

“A friend living nearby recommended Terramia for a get together of several guys. Was greeted warmly and seated by Tiffany who was hostess and bartending. Jenae was our server and between the two of them was made to feel at home. Atmosphere was very comfortable and intimate like a neighborhood gathering spot. “The restaurant was very busy and we had made a reservation. We arrived a few minutes early and we were greeted by a very nice young man. We could see that it was going to be awhile, but we were not concerned. They kept telling us how sorry they were, (they were short handed) and the owner/chef even came out to thank us for being so patient. We were seated and the chef came out and apologized again. I ordered a glass of wine from him and then received another. He also gave us a special treat as a thank you for our kindness and patience. We ordered and cannot say enough of how good the food once. I am Italian, have eaten in Italy numerous times and this is like being there. He has a good menu, not large, but the food is excellent. When we ordered we received our food quickly. We plan to return to Mount Dora, as we cruise a lot, and definitely will visit them again!“

“My sister and I had our first visit to Cariera's in Winter Garden, FL, a family owned restaurant, for lunch about a week ago. I first heard about it a few years ago on the NextDoor App for the Dr. Phillips neighborhood in Orlando, which I believe was their original location. We grabbed the menus, sat at a booth, made our selections and then went up to very friendly Cashier/Waitress Valerie to prepay our meals and tips. I had the Fried Calamari, Shrimp & Crab Ravioli ala Vodka, fruit infused red sangria and for dessert, Limoncello cake. Sis had the Lasagna. Everything was delicious (see pics)! The calamari was seasoned crispy on the outside but light and tender on the inside. The ravioli didn't have as much crab as I would have liked but plenty of shrimp. The vodka sauce was creamy and cheesy. Even the garlic roll was fresh and warm. Everything was perfect and there was plenty leftovers to feed us a couple more days. The owner and Valerie and other servers checked on us periodically throughout our meal. The food, welcoming atmosphere and excellent customer service provided our first-time visit with a very happy, delightful experience! There are plenty of veggie and vegetarian options and a $10 'Little Bambinos' menu. Cariera's is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking except handicapped spaces are limited. We plan to return to try different things on the menu and would highly recommend for indoor and/or carry out meals with family, friends and visitors.“

“Anthony, the business owner is very accommodating as he especially made stuffed shells for me even if it was no longer on the menu and it was made perfect! The shell was cooked just right and the cheese inside , mah-velous! Our OT John was amazed how much filling and meat was in his calzone. And the canoli? It was nothing like ones i buy from Whole Foods. LOL! The filling did make a difference, not boring and did not taste powdery. Not too sweet, just right. The crust? Fresh and crunchy! Just went in today for Valentine’s Day and our server, Shack, was probably the best server we’ve ever had there! “Local Gem We live a 15 minute stroll from Mangoni's Italian Market, but at "feels like" temps hovering around 105°, strolling to lunch hasn't been as attractive ? Sunday, hubby wanted a relaxing lunch with sangria! So, we drove (& charged our EV in the parking garage). We had the entire patio to ourselves, as diners likely expected unbearable heat. Mangoni's pergola and great ceiling fans made patio dining the experience we wanted---even when the afternoon storm blew up from the west, we were protected from rain. We enjoyed our favorite, GF goat cheese pizza, with our sangria. Unlike most places, Mangoni's GF crust is an excellent, thin cauliflower crust. And, it’s not an upcharge. We also enjoyed meeting Georgia, the regional manager, who chatted with us about the social hour (11-6pm weekdays). She made a GF garlicky cheesy Flatbread for us to try--now we have more reason to stroll (or drive) over! Oh, and take away is a frequent option. Really, Mangoni's is a local gem.“

“I'm updating my review to a 5 because this place has become my go-to for takeout pizza.

The Value:
The specific ratings are food, service and atmosphere but the criteria I weigh most heavily is how much I feel that the price was worth the total package. I've been coming a long time, but more frequently lately as prices of lower quality pizzas have risen to the point where I've made an intentional decision to grab pizza slightly less frequently, but when I do I go ahead and get a quality pie from Anthony's.

The Place:
As I mentioned, I don't live far away and have always come here occasionally. It is a smaller place with just a few small tables and a couple of booths but is a nice sit in restaurant where someone can order a pasta while I order a slice. It is a casual atmosphere but a nice and cozy one. There's usually a few older guys working in the back with a girl running the counter. I don't know if they're family, but some of them very well could be. Then again, I've never heard those loud arguments in the back so maybe they're not family. Anyway, it feels like a nice family atmosphere.

The Service:
I usually pick up my pizza after calling ahead and have never had any issue. I usually speak to a polite younger woman both on the phone and when I pick up.

The Pizza:
The crust is very good, like real fresh dough. All of the ingredients are real and fresh and it really comes through. I usually get a Hawaiian and a specialty pizza called "The Boss" with meat and green peppers and things. Really good stuff. And it reheats well the next day, so much better than the delivery chains both fresh and next day.“

“We go there mostly for the salads. They are good. If you go to the store, you usually don't have too much of a wait. Trying to order by phone is a different matter. Either you can't get through or you have to wait a bit and then you get disconnected.“
