“Amazing array of flavors and treats! The customer service is awesome in this small ice cream shop. We've been there a few times and every time we have a great family time. There are highchairs for my baby, and paper towels at every table. My kids love the cow themed paint job and always excitedly point them out while digging into their treat. The price is so reasonable and they have seasoned themed treats! I just tried the pumpkin roll creation and I have dreams about it now, yum! Get your ice cream in a colored waffle cone, each with its own flavor. My husband is determined to try each one. This is our new favorite shop and it's right here, in downtown Avon Park. “Talk about an out of the way unexpected gem find! We were driving back home on US Highway 27 & got hungry! And we came upon this place, pulled over & to our delite had the opportunity to enjoy what seems to be a frequently visited joint by locals! The place is definitely NOT a michelin star restaurant but is cozy & welcoming environment makes up for it! Menu is simple, to me like diner food. I liked the most the variety of soup available! & the fact u r welcome to taste as many as u like before commenting to one! I went with the split pea! velvety creamy flavorful taste! Went with the bowl & it was filling. Hubby went with one of their pizzas. Several sizes are available & he went with the small which was plenty! Think of a pizza hut personnel size pizza & make it slightly bigger. It was yummy! Then on to dessert! Omg! ICE CREAM! I believe they have about 40 flavors to choose from! No soft serve. Do keep in mind place is not your fast food joint. Dedicate a bit of time to your visit. After greeted by a warm friendly smile we sat at the counter. Checked out the menu & made our pickings! Then walked around the small market area where u can see the huge collection of beverages they have! & the jams/jellies! You can also take a chance with your luck & buy a lotto ticket. Not a fancy place at all, no frills, no cloth napkins! Just lots of kindness & awesome (thou a bit slower then usual AMAZING SERVICE!). A must stop when in area! Enjoy!“

“Great customer service, free pup cups, huge servings, and delicious soft serve ice cream. Both drive thru window & walk up window. But there aren't any prices on the menu so they lose a star. Their place is shaped like an ice cream cone, pretty cute. They are in the same shopping center as Walmart, next to Murphy Express Gas station and across the street of Goodwill on Highway 27.“
“Other than giving my order to a person who looked like he just wanted to go home, and was not that friendly. This wasn't too bad of a visit. Enjoyed discovering a special on the chicken tenders meal they have there. Chicken tenders and occasional ice cream orders are my two main reasons for going to DQ. Of course they have burgers there also, and their great selection of blizzards and other ice cream treats. The chicken tender meal was a bit smaller, but cost less. The special part of the meal was that it included a small sundae. Don't visit any Dairy Queen restaurants too often since I don't eat that much ice cream (junk food). But, do enjoy those chicken tenders with some great gravy available for them. Do get the enjoyable blizzard occasionally of course.“
“I love this cute little country store and the family that owns it. I’ve been going there for over five years now. The first things I fell in love with were the front porch/swing and their Homemade Orange swirl ice cream ? Then their fruit wines and mixes ?. This past year or so I’ve participated in some parties under their huge barn (they even offer services to help with your party ?) and at the back of the store, omg! it’s huge back there to set up some tents for parties or cookouts and even a small platform for a band!!Ya gotta go visit and check it out! At least to get some of that delicious ice cream ?and chill on the porch. Love it love it love it!?“
