Always consistent and good. We order quite a variety of things and have never been disappointed. Meat is good quality… chicken and beef aren’t slimy like other Chinese restaurants can be. We like the Singapore house noodles, Mongolian beef, Szechuan chicken, boneless ribs, fried rice and lo mein, and egg rolls are great too.
We stay on Big Pine for three weeks every year, and we order take out from China Garden 2 - 3 times during our stay. Never have been disappointed. At one point in time the dining room used to be open, but they shut it down right after the hurricane & haven’t been “dine in” since. It’s carry out only, which is fine. Friendly service. Cashier gave the kids some extra fortune cookies. Sauce packets are self serve which is always nice. The reason for 3 stars for atmosphere- sign outside says take out only. We drove 2 hours headed to key west and needed a place to sit down and eat with 6 &3 yr old. Dine in option would have earned 5 star for atmosphere. Overall good food.
