BagelWorks, a popular restaurant in Boca, is known for its delicious bagels and tuna salad. Customers have been visiting for over 20 years, praising the high-quality pumpernickel bagels and friendly service. However, some recent experiences have been less favorable. Upon arrival with a service dog, a customer was made to feel uncomfortable by the owner, who questioned the legitimacy of the service dog. Despite the excellent bagels, this unpleasant encounter has tarnished the overall experience for some.
Customers have also praised the bagels, considering them the best in Boca and even comparing them favorably to those from New York. The service has been commended, particularly from the staff. However, a family brunch experience had mixed opinions on the Works platter and nova spread, and the separate charge for the pickles caused confusion. The ambiance is typical of a deli, with lines expected during weekends.
Despite these varying experiences, BagelWorks continues to offer great bagels and a range of options for its customers.
