“I think that Smash House is an amazing place. My husband happened upon it when he was at Wynn Dixie doing his weekly meat shopping. The owner gave him an intro deal (that was not even the great part) but it was 100 dollars for 24 patties and all of the fixin's including gluten free rolls! My daughter and I are gfcf so that was incredible. The flavors blended. The carmalized onions the sweet pickles and the red onions were so good together but to top it off there was cheese and the bun toasted was the best ever. This place needs more customers! pack it in because you won't be sorry“

They were happy to bring my order out to the car because I could not find a spot in that crazy parking lot. I will definitely come back here again. “My baseball team and I headed to this BurgerFi location following a double header. They did a phenomal job serving us all on late notice. The burgers and fries were delicious, and they even provided a sweet treat for us following our meals. Midie and Donyae specifically did a great job with their service. We were all grateful for the teams hard work. High recommend this location!“

“Nice place in a nice area. Stopped here by chance and the Teriyaki Cheeseburger is great. The burgers and fries and onion rings are all good. I can see how this place could be Habit forming. My only negatives were getting charged extra for onion rings instead of fries for the kids meal, and the trash cans inside and outside were all overflowing. I was also entertained watching drivers try to parallel park along the curb at a 75 percent failure rate, which has nothing to do with the restaurant.“

“Smokey Bones is an American barbecue chain founded by Darden restaurants in Orlando Florida. They went on to open over 120 restaurants but by 2007 Smokey Bones was struggling and started closing half of them down. That same year they were sold to Barbeque Integrated. It has been awhile since I have been to Smokey Bones but a summer BOGO promotion brought my girlfriend and I in for dinner. Every day of the week they offer a different BOGO, Monday wings, Tuesday sirloin, Wednesday 1/2 rack of ribs, and Thursday brisket, On the weekends if you purchase a BBQ pack you get 2 free bag of donuts. They also have a late night Bones After Dark menu with $4, $5, and $6 light bites. They also have an everyday during the week special that gives you a full rack of ribs, 2 sides, and a beer, all for $20. I'm loving the deals! We came in on a Wednesday for the BOGO rib special. I started with a refreshing $5 Dirty Shirley that was potent for a drink special. We decided to share an appetizer of the chorizo queso that we both enjoyed. Our rib special allowed us to get 2 half rack of ribs and four sides for only $19.99. It was a bargain and I thoroughly enjoyed the fall of the bone glazed meaty ribs. I called it meat candy. The loaded baked potato and coleslaw were great too but sad to see they took the apples off the menu. You used to have dig up the $10 coupon if you wanted a discount. I prefer these excellent specials so much more. If you sign up for the loyalty program you even get $10 off your first meal. Service was excellent and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. I hope they carry promotions in to the fall. Smokey Bones has won me back.“

And I’m definitely not someone who throws around 5-star ratings unless they’re truly deserved.

That said, when a place earns it, I’m more than happy to say so.

For me, The Duck Tavern really starts with the bartenders. Leli and Ali have a way of turning a simple beer into a whole experience. You sit down planning to have one drink, and before you know it you’re enjoying the atmosphere, the conversation, and the vibe of the place.

The bar itself is fun, welcoming, and stocked with all kinds of beers and drinks you don’t always find at a typical neighborhood spot.

Personally, I love that they always have ice-cold Moosehead ready to go—credit to the owner for that.

I originally started coming to this little gem because of the Moosehead… but I’ll always keep coming back because of Leli and Ali.“
