“Was driving back to the office when I decided to make a quick stop here and grab some burgers for myself and a few of my coworkers. Figured showing up with food was a pretty good way to earn some extra points at work lol. I grabbed a mix so everyone had something different to try, including the MOOYAH Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburger, Cheddar Bacon BBQ, and a Mushroom Swiss.

Everything was a hit once I got back to the office. The classic cheeseburger was simple but really satisfying with the beef, melted American cheese, fresh lettuce and tomato, and their MOOYAH sauce. The Cheddar Bacon BBQ was probably my favorite because of the combination of cheddar, bacon, grilled onions, and BBQ sauce. One of my coworkers claimed the Mushroom Swiss immediately 😂 The Swiss cheese, mushrooms, crispy onion strings, and beef made it rich and savory. The burgers still tasted fresh by the time we sat down to eat, which was a big plus.

The place itself had a casual, upbeat vibe and was easy to stop into when I was already on the go. The crew was friendly and attentive, especially considering I was ordering several burgers at once. They made sure the order was packed properly and that everything was accounted for before I headed back to the office. I really appreciated not having to stand around forever either.

Safe to say my coworkers loved the surprise, and there wasn't much left once everyone finished eating lol. Great burgers, good variety, friendly service, and a smooth takeout experience. Apparently I'm now expected to bring burgers whenever I stop here again 😂“

“A locally known pizza 🍕 spot with a sunny interior selling 1/2 pies only - there’s indoor and outdoor seating. It has a big picture window in the front.

My plain cheese pizza was delicious. And the worker (who looks like a super model) made me feel right at home. This is charming little spot with seating for within Boca’s beautiful Mizner Park. I wish I had met the owner! Good vibes in here!

“I think that Smash House is an amazing place. My husband happened upon it when he was at Wynn Dixie doing his weekly meat shopping. The owner gave him an intro deal (that was not even the great part) but it was 100 dollars for 24 patties and all of the fixin's including gluten free rolls! My daughter and I are gfcf so that was incredible. The flavors blended. The carmalized onions the sweet pickles and the red onions were so good together but to top it off there was cheese and the bun toasted was the best ever. This place needs more customers! pack it in because you won't be sorry“

“This place is awesome and the food is great. Just one thing, The Greek is iconic and you should bring it back. It was the first thing I got my first time at the Deerfield location almost 15 years ago. I would always crave this burger. Now that the Boca location opened, I would have it once a month. My friend who even introduced me to this restaurant craved The Greek burger for over a decade while she lived in Seattle. Bring this burger back!!! “I can’t remember the last time I visited a Burgerfi. I always thought they were ok at best but there are other burgers I’m more fond of. I moved recently and now the plaza where Burgerfi is on 18th St in Boca is the only thing I pass on the way home. I was in the mood for a burger and reluctantly stopped in. One thing I noticed is they work really well together. They were pretty busy and the lady behind the counter kept every single customer engaged and in addition to that she was talking the cooks through the orders. I was genuinely impressed because I’m in hospitality as well and I don’t see that level of teamwork often. “Smokey Bones is an American barbecue chain founded by Darden restaurants in Orlando Florida. They went on to open over 120 restaurants but by 2007 Smokey Bones was struggling and started closing half of them down. That same year they were sold to Barbeque Integrated. It has been awhile since I have been to Smokey Bones but a summer BOGO promotion brought my girlfriend and I in for dinner. Every day of the week they offer a different BOGO, Monday wings, Tuesday sirloin, Wednesday 1/2 rack of ribs, and Thursday brisket, On the weekends if you purchase a BBQ pack you get 2 free bag of donuts. They also have a late night Bones After Dark menu with $4, $5, and $6 light bites. They also have an everyday during the week special that gives you a full rack of ribs, 2 sides, and a beer, all for $20. I'm loving the deals! We came in on a Wednesday for the BOGO rib special. I started with a refreshing $5 Dirty Shirley that was potent for a drink special. We decided to share an appetizer of the chorizo queso that we both enjoyed. Our rib special allowed us to get 2 half rack of ribs and four sides for only $19.99. It was a bargain and I thoroughly enjoyed the fall of the bone glazed meaty ribs. I called it meat candy. The loaded baked potato and coleslaw were great too but sad to see they took the apples off the menu. You used to have dig up the $10 coupon if you wanted a discount. I prefer these excellent specials so much more. If you sign up for the loyalty program you even get $10 off your first meal. Service was excellent and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. I hope they carry promotions in to the fall. Smokey Bones has won me back.“

“We made it to the Boca Burger Battle this year, and it turned out to be a fun way to spend part of our wedding anniversary.

We were glad we upgraded to the VIP tickets. Early access meant shorter lines and more time to sample the burgers before the crowds arrived.

Our personal favorite of the night was Canopy by Hilton, while The Cove took home both the Judges’ Choice and People’s Choice awards. Calypso Restaurant & Raw Bar and Yard House also finished among the winners.

After spending the last few weeks on food tours throughout Asia and Istanbul—including a few Michelin-recognized stops—we couldn’t help but laugh that our pick didn’t match the results. Then again, that’s what makes food so much fun… everyone’s taste buds are different.

“We stumbled upon Downtown Grille while walking in Mizner and it did not disappoint. If you are ever looking for a late night or during the day lunch spot, this place is it. Location was in walking distance to the hotel we stayed at. We got buffalo wings, Jalepeno poppers and the “good” burger. Owner was friendly and even gave us some extra sauces to try. For the price, it’s worth it. Generous amounts, hot and fresh. My burger was super tasty and cooked to medium rare perfection. The wings were tasty and juicy. We enjoyed this hidden gem.
