Most people wouldn't think of finding a good restaurant inside a department store. However, Mariposa could easily stand alone outside. We discovered this hidden gem a few years ago and have returned on a regular basis. The atmosphere is inviting, my server, REUVEN, could easily work in a 5 star restaurant. The menu is excellent with specials every day. I highly recommend Mariposa whether you are shopping or just looking for a good dining experience.
Mariposa is one of my favorite places for lunch!! Love the popovers with the strawberry butter!! So yummy!!

The restaurant is perfect for a ladies' lunch, with easy parking nearby. Located inside Neiman Marcus on the 2nd floor near the home section and elevators, it provides a lovely atmosphere for diners. The lovely bar often hosts fashion shows, showcasing the latest styles and designers, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. The service is excellent, with welcoming staff like Patty, who has been with the restaurant since it opened. Guests appreciate the knowledgeable waitstaff, who are attentive and often present tastes of the menu. With new items added to the menu, including a beloved soup, Mariposa continues to impress diners. The Illy Italian roast coffee is also a standout, made fresh from beans ground just before brewing, creating a smooth and satisfying finish to a delightful meal. Stylish diners and special surprises, like birthday celebrations, enhance the overall charm of this exceptional restaurant. The blue cheese burger with sweet potato fries, although the fries may be bland for some, offers a unique flavor with bacon jam served on the side. Mariposa remains the most pleasant place to have lunch in the mall.
