We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Trattoria Romano because the service is always excellent and the cuisine is even better! Thank you for helping us celebrate this special day in such a positive way.
Food & service amazing! So popular & well deserving. That requires a lot of tables close to each other & a lot of diners which can be quite loud. Delicious pasta & steak. We were treated very well.

Based on the reviews, Trattoria Romana & Bar Sorana offers outstanding food and service, with a popular and lively atmosphere. The menu features authentic Italian food that is fresh and delicious, with highly recommended dishes including the saluted soft shell crabs, stuffed meatball, cheese ravioli, rack of lamb, and Langostino’s. The tomatoes to start and the dessert are also praised. However, some meals have been inconsistent, with reports of a bad clam, a dry veal chop, and dry swordfish. The staff is friendly and provides fast service, with specific praise for a helpful bar area staff member and a lady who returned a lost wallet. While the outside ambiance could use better chairs and the restaurant can be noisy, it is considered by far the best Italian food within 50 miles and is highly recommended.
