Uncle Tai's is a well established Chinese restaurant located in Boca Raton. The weather was nice and we sat outside to enjoy our lunch. They have lunch menu on the weekend as well. We ended up ordering from the dinner as well since lunch didn't have fish option. We ordered shrimp dumplings steamed, these were really good and I would order this against. Food is very good and so is the quality. Service is also good. I've gone here for lunch and dinner I usually order the compound chicken. What I don't like is this place is very quite. Almost need to whisper with the person your eating with. They should add some background music. Even if it's light. No ambiance, just an awkward silence.

Acceptable; not amazing. Americanized upscale Chinese with a few less common items to round out the menu. Service was perfectly fine. Rice was excellent (I'm a rice snob); crispy beef was uninspired; tofu vegetable soup had good variety and quality vegetables.
